Excellent doctor. He is a machine. he has patient in and out as fast as possible. I have seen him 4 times. he took the time with me when the condition called for it, otherwise not a lot of chit chat. office is dated.

He cleared my acne up so 5 stars for that. I was recommended him by friends who said he cleared up their and their cousins acne. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, but he didn’t really explain to me what the treatment was. Also the medication was giving me some side affects that would come and go and he didn’t even suggest changing it, so I am going to try someone else. But if you want results, don’t hesitate to see Dr. Rountree. The décor is a little ridiculous, but I think that is comforting when they don’t try too hard. The staff is very nice, and every visit he gave me a free chemical peel, probably because I was paying out of pocket.

He’s nice, fast and efficient. His personality is not chatty but he’s friendly. If you want him to sit and talk with you about what’s happening in your life, not concerning dermatalogical issues, he’s not your man. I was surprised at how fast it all went(consulation, what my issues were, how to resolve, procedures) but truthfully, I was seen fast and got out of there fast… total time was about 45 min and I realized I kind of liked it. He did allow me to ask questions and gave me some samples. I plan on seeing him again b/c he’s fast. He loses stars b/c the office staff is meh and the place isn’t as bright as it could be, given its in a new building. I think adding some plants, magazines and a rug might spruce it up. But its the building/lighting not him, per se. Although its his space and it does leave something to be desired. But his actual examination room was very clean, bright and nice.

I didn’t think the office was very clean when I came for my appointment with Dr. Rountree. It was such a quick consultation/appointment. All he did was look at my face, and prescribe me a bunch of prescriptions and told me to come back in a month to see progress. Honestly, I’m not going to come back for a «check up» for him to prescribe me more mediciation/topical cream and pay over $ 30 for the visit. I’ve been going to a bunch of dermatologists in the past and I’ve taken some of the prescriptions he had given me too but he told me to try them again. They have an asian cosmetic dermatologist inside the office as well but she was not in at the time, and I didn’t even know about that speciality being offered. Anyways I ended up buying topic cream, morning gel, antibiotic pills and water pills. Needless to say, I never went back for the follow up because I didn’t feel he acknowledged or addressed my concerns or built any relationship with me as his patient.
