Standing in line right now, and watched the lady(black girl, curly/fluffy wig) working the return register chewing gum… Then took it out of her mouth with her hands. Next customer came, and she put it back in her mouth, handling money and receipts to customers no problem… gross! Bad attitude to match

Many times clothes are repetitive and old. Seems they stock old clothes more. Can improve on long lines.

Not as organized and clean as other Ross stores that I have been in, but if you are looking to kill a few moments by doing some casual perusing, this can fit the bill. Know that they have a little of everything so if you are looking for specifics, a visit here could be a waste of time for you. I would not recommend going after work hours as this place does get crowded. Try early weekend mornings instead.

This store is in poor condition. I went in on Tuesday night at 5:40 and the place was a mess! Clothes everywhere. No logical order to dress racks-where were clothes sized smaller than a 10? The shoes look like a toddler organized them. I know that Ross is the read headed step child of the Marshall’s brand but wow.

I am giving Ross 4 stars because even though it’s a mess and there is always a wait I always find something there I must buy. I especially enjoy buying home items from Ross. Recently I’ve found some cute dresses, that I’ve been able to wear to professional events. Cheap and professional dresses, that alone makes them deserving of 4 stars.

I love the selection of dresses at this particular Ross store. However, I usually have to give myself a pep-talk before I dare go in. 1)The lines are always ridiculously long 2) I find that shoppers are very territorial. As in let me see if I can intimidate you out of this aisle my running my shopping cart in the middle. So just stay cool, calm and collected and you’ll find some great deals.

Da bomb. Sure, it’s messy and cluttered. Yeah, there’s a mound of crap in front of the returns counter to make you buy unnecessary junk. I grew a few grey hairs standing in line. But I don’t care. I find good clothing items for my smaller sizes, as I’ve scored Kenneth Cole sweaters and slim fit slacks, a Volcom t-shirt, $ 20 Converse low tops, Nike at thletic wear, tri-ply pots, cooking utensils galore for $ 3 or less, crystal wine glasses, 10′ T-Fal skillet, a Samsonite 20′ roller, framed art, etc etc etc

The best thing about this location is the name brands. Service was less than stellar. The young lady was nice enough after I waited for 10 min in the«jewelry» section. They had a pink(fuschia) Timex triathlon shock watch for …$ 6.49. I bought two. Best deal ever. The watches did ring up regular price $ 29,.99 but she did some research and I ended up paying $ 13 for two… WINNING! They also had some Movado, Gucci and Michael Kors watches. Best selection of name brand watches I’ve seen at any Ross store. Would stop by again if I was in the neighborhood. I didn’t look at anything else so not sure how the clothes, shoes, etc are :(

I love Ross. But this Ross is ridiculous. There are always only two registers open and the lines are so long. The aisles are cramped and hard to find anything on. There are always so many people here, I guess because it’s on Westheimer. Everything mostly seemed picked over. I’ve never been to Ross that had so little of everything. The only reason I even gave it a 3 instead of a 2 is because I had to return a curtain rod and the girl who did the transaction was really nice and helpful.

OK, so I wouldn’t recommend you buy all your clothes here because you will end up with nothing after a month or two, but Ross can definitely help you out in an emergency. For example: Going on a date? Want to wear your yellow pumps? but wait, your hot as hell black dress is at the cleaners. Dang! Maybe that black shirt some jeans an that awesome yellow belt… wait. that shirt is not black… it’s navy blue!!! OMG! What am I going to wear! Worry not dear friend, Ross is here to help you. Go to your nearest Ross store(there are at least 500 in Houston!) and pick up a nice shirt or a dress for your date. Situation controlled and your date will never know you bought that shirt/dress just for the date! But, do not expect to own it for more than two or three wears. I love Ross but the truth is that the materials for most of their clothes are cheap. Don’t get me wrong, I have found awesome dresses that I have had for a while, but the rule is that their materials mostly suck. I love to buy things for my apartment at Ross, the other day I found a set of white satin sheets for $ 14! And purchased a little cow cup for my tea for $ 3! I just love finding cute little things(and inexpensive) at Ross. I am definitely a fan, but I still will buy my main wardrobe pieces else where.
