Eastwood is a gold mine for taco-hounds like me, and sometimes I just go cruising the area until a place jumps out at me and says,“today, you eat here!” Yesterday, as I drove around nearing death from starvation, that place was Acapulco. I was so glad I stopped in! Like a lot of places in this part of town, there can be a bit of a language barrier, but it’s never a real problem. The people working here are super nice. They actually have a pretty nice menu, and a clean and bright little dining area, so I sat down and relaxed for my breakfast. I think their specialty might be tortas… as the sign says,“Super Tortas Acapulco”, but there were plenty of items to choose from. I had breakfast tacos on the brain… I ordered 3x tacos with scrambled eggs and sausage. They were great! They served them up on a plate, along with a bowl of hot sauce. I also ordered a cup of coffee, and a big bottle of orange juice. My entire bill was just over six bucks Gotta like that! The only bad part of my experience was the fact the battery went dead in my little camera… so I got NO pictures! But that gives me an excuse to go back. Going out to eat on the East side is always like a little vacation in itself. And now I can say I’ve been to Acapulco!
