For being a dive bar, this place is pretty nifty. When my brother came into town, we were up here most night playing their free darts. The décor is lively with wall décor of palm trees. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good with all the standing air fresheners everywhere. There is also an internet, touch screen jukebox. They do have a full bar, which from my understanding is the only bar on Wakefield that does. The only thing I have against it is that they’ve begun using a liquor management monitor. They’re magnetic spouts on the bottle that control how much is poured. That’s my reason for taking off a star..

I am not sure I have got what it takes to like this place and I am certain that I have yet to see it operating normally, as I was there for a special event and it seemed to be a little off. The staff was strangely resentful as though we did not really belong, despite the ferocious rate the drink tab went up. It is seriously Texas, all except the friendly. It is in my neighborhood, and it serves liquor, but I would much rather nip down to the Big Star.
