I gave a two star for this location because of the following reasons. I’ll start with the bad. The hallways smell like marijuana, there were guys hanging out in the hallways and stairs, guys around the«front» door all night drinking, and the hotel needs security. Hood. The good was the price, room was decent w/modern furniture, clean, and front desk staff were friendly. This is my first time staying at this location few days ago and will be my last if I were to visit Houston again.

We stayed at this hotel just because it is convenient… But oh boy… What a terror! People talking outside the room in the middle of the night??? Why??? And since the wall is so thin(I suppose) we can hear all the noises. Next night… We heard people fighting outside our hotel room also in the middle of the night where they are suppose to sleep! Crazy!!! Thank God Police get there quick(I guess one of other guest call the police)… It was so horrible!!! Give me a «Chill» each time I remember it! Will never stay there again!!!

One of the worse place I’ve been to yet! The old hag at the front desk is rude to everyone. Rude to my mother via phone and rude to anyone that talks to her. My family and I are visiting Houston for a family emergency, even though we had reservations ready for this place, only phrase that leaves her filthy mouth was, «You can’t check in until 7:00am.» Yes lady, I understand that, but our confirmation states that we were allowed to check in. I wouldn’t rant on Unilocal if the lady had a better attitude, but she was just an unsympathetic monster. To everyone, if you are able to find a better place, please do.

The facilities were nice… however the staff seems to be completely incompetent. After I was charges FOUR times for the room they couldn’t explain why and would do absolutely nothing to help me. My bank handled it all. The manager wouldn’t even call me back to talk about the issue. The assistant manager seems to not know her ass from a hole in the ground. I visited the property to try and get things situated and the manager told me everything I wanted to hear but did nothing to help. After it seemed to be situated out, thanks to my bank, I received another charge on my card! I called the property and spoke with the night desk clerk and to no surprise she wouldn’t help either. Spoke with the assistant manager again and once again she did absolutely nothing and told me to call the bank. I ended up having to cancel my card to avoid them from charging it anymore. Thieves to put it mildly. Someone I’m sure got ahold of the extra $ 300 that I was charged. Worst staff I’ve ever seen at a hotel. To top it off Red Roof customer relations never contacted me back either! Will never be staying at a Red Roof again.

Checked in yet again to a red roof using my redid rewards card. I’m supposed to get a free water with every check on and thus far out of a dozen stays I’ve only got 2(yes this is botreally a big deal to me but they do list it as a perk). Upon check in I noticed a security gaurd had come on site to do security(ok doesn’t sound to bad right?). After several attempts to get my tablet online I brought out the always reliable lap top. Still couldn’t connect so I called front desk whom at 1115 pm directed me to a help desk. Aparently ny room would not pick up the WiFi radio and he asked me to step in hall way. That’s the only way I could use internet on 3rd floor. Sitting on the hallway floor on my iPad trying to do some work and enter the security gaurd trying to do some hallway patrol. He started to tell me I could t sit in the hallway(are you freaking kidding me I’m dead silent bothering no one. Am I in fat kid camp or something). I wanted to open up a can of whoop a$$ on his big head and put him in his place then I guess he realized I must jot get signal in my room). Unbelievable. Room was clean, remodeled and didn’t smell like smoke(that’s a gamble getting a smoke smell free room in red roof despite their new non smoking policy). Outdated tv but it worked but lacked a good selection of channels.

Not a five star hotel but hey your are not paying for one. Seems renovated. Rooms are very nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Doesn’t have a flat screen TV(just a regular one) but that was not important to me.

Nice hotel for a red roof inn. Front desk was really helpful, and the room was much cleaner than I expected.

When I got in, the room was missing towels and an iron. I had a meeting in the morning and really needed that iron. I called the front desk and called after 3 hours of not delivering the missing items. Then I had to go downstairs to get a towel and they still told me they didn’t have time. ITTOOK6HOURSTOGET A TOWELAND I NEVERGOTANIRON. TERRIBLEHOTEL!!! I WOULDGIVEITZEROSTARSIF I COULD!
