Last year my husband and I made reservations here for our anniversary and everything was outstanding!!! We thought it would be nice to come again for our anniversary this year but we had a really disappointing experience. The service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. The desserts Saturday night were awful!(Except the cookie, but I’m not paying this much to have a cookie for dessert). The bar area only seats about 12 people with 1-bartender but there were about 20 – 25 people crowded around the small bar blocking the walkway to the food buffet for those of us who were there for dinner. We ordered a $ 60 bottle of white wine that the waitress never brought an ice bucket for and drinks were not refilled until we were ready to leave. The food was cold by the time we sat down to eat… just overall very disappointed. The waitress did apologize and said something about a lot of employees calling out for the night but I just don’t know if we will try it again.

The bistro is the restaurant for the Houston Rockets located in the Toyota center upper level. My friends and I had a phenomenal experience. Parked in tundra parking lot and walked right in to the restaurant. The tables face the court and you are able to see everything well. The food was tremendous and the service is exactly what you would expect from an establishment. This place would survive and do well if it was a standalone restaurant. An assortment of carving stations featuring lamb, beef and chicken. Sides like fresh grilled vegetables, roasted Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and pasta. Seafood like salmon and shrimp. They had mashed potatoes on the bar but it had bacon in it. On a whim we asked if there was a way we could get it without the bacon, and the head chef herself walked out and talked to us! She assured us it was fine and brought a large family size dish just for our table with the bacon free mashed potatoes. They have an extensive dessert bar featuring an assortment of cookies, cakes, pies, and mini desserts. They also featured an ice cream Sunday bar. The bistro has an all inclusive price for the buffet of around 50 dollars each. You do need a game ticket in order to get access as well. For a special occasion and a rockets game, it is a great choice. Their menu also changes from time to time. We will be back.

We wanted to take my dad out to eat for his birthday but at the same time, we also want him to watch basketball since he’s a big basketball fan. My sister and her husband recommend this place to us and so we made a reservation. You have to buy a basketball ticket to get into the place, and it cost about $ 40 for a buffet. Expect spending about over $ 50 plus tip. We made a reservation and they gave us one of their biggest table that faces the basketball court. It was more of a private room compare to a lot of the other tables in the restaurant. Even though the buffet seem pricey, it was absolutely worth it. They have so many delicious variety of food choices and they have the biggest and most delicious cookies for dessert! soft and perfect. Employees are so sweet and kind and they seriously took well care of us. My dad had such a wonderful time. Not only he was able to watch rockets play, he was also enjoying his meal. Everyone was very happy and had a great time. Attire is smart casual, and some do get a little dressy too. I will definitely come back again even though I’m not a basketball fan: P Make reservation and request a good seat to see the court much better and closer for your convenience.

$ 40 bucks for all you can eat buffet at the rocket’s game. Although it is a pretty pricey for a buffet the food is pretty darn good! The service was pretty good as well so I’d definitely recommend as least trying this place once Unfortunately the table we were seated at was too far to see the game so I suggest making reservations ahead of time for a good seat facing the game.
