Hunny and I went here for the first time ever the other day. I must say, the chicken tenders were fab! I’m not a huge tender fan, and I annihilated them! The sauce was very tasty as well. We will be back! Only downside, it was cold as hell in there!

Self proclaimed Caniac! I absolutely LOVE Raising Canes! This was my 2nd time eating at one in Houston(I’m from dallas) and I was not disappointed. As usual excellent service and awesome food as I always expect from Canes! Love this franchise. And I will definitely be coming back!

I love this place. This place not only caters to the neighborhood at large but has numerous pictures of major things in and from Houston such as the late oilers, Patrick Swayze(who went to school just around the block from that place at waltrip highschool) and the area high schools: Lutheran high north, st pius X, and waltrip highschool. Plus the chicken is good!

Amazing gourmet chicken. The menu is extremely diverse for a place of such high caliber. Bottled water was also crystal clear. Employees were friendly and willing to take our order immediately.

Good food and great service. A friend texted asking to add something for them to the order… Right after I passed the order speaker. There was a line so I called and asked to add it. They added it and the order was perfect.

I stop by this Raising Canes on my way home from work and I have always received wonderful service and the food(chicken, fries, coleslaw) has always been on point. I’m from Louisiana so Raising Canes had a special place in my heart. The chicken tenders are absolutely delicious and the cane sauce is so legit! Of course the sweet tea is a must! The workers always do a great gob of taking orders really fast and they are always really professional and nice. I’m confused by all the negative reviews. Businesses get busy, it happens. Lunch time can be a rush so I don’t think all the negative reviews are a fair assessment of this location.

Delicious as usual! Came here for lunch today. The drive thru way fast. The food was hot and fresh. Especially the fries! They were cooked perfect. Not soggy with the perfect crunch. :) I replaced the Texas toast for extra cane sauce.

JOSHMORIN is the best employee at Cane’s. Hands down. Excellent customer service, fast, friendly service, easy access from Ella and 610. I recommend drive through because greasy chicken can affect the tables no matter how many times they are cleaned. My husband likes to share the Canniac w an Arnold Palmer.

The service at this Cane’s is great! I needed to get a quick dinner for a party of 8. The cashier was friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. Cane’s may only do one thing, but they really do so it well.

It’s not always going to be perfect service. It’s understandable that it gets busy during lunch hours, but there have been times where I go through the drive thru and I either received the wrong drink or missing a utensil. Obviously I won’t notice until I get back to work bc I don’t have time to check. But honestly it’s not a big deal for me. But for someone else it could be and might cost you some business. Just a tip. But drive thru is quick most of the time. As for the chicken, I can’t get enough of it! The chicken is perfectly crispy, and the insides are just so tender! The texture of the outside and inside are perfect for me! Not much flavor, but that’s what the Cane’s sauce is for. Fries are good, but could get soggy if you get it to go and wait too long to open it. And the toast is *thumbs up. Combo box is where it’s at. You can sub the coleslaw for more fries if you want!

Loved their chicken and I believe that’s what their known for! Crunchy on the outside and extremely tender after that. It’s not too seasoned or anything, so it goes very well with their sauce! I’ll be back to try more!

I would have to say I am underwhelmed by this chicken. It doesn’t taste like anything special. No extra zest or anything. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. Might as well go to Popeyes. You get more bang for your buck and better portions.

Mmm. Love this food. Just recently discovered it and I can’t get enough. Always a lot of people inside or in line because, let’s face it, it’s delicious.

Damn! Are the people working here have a hearing problem or something. I walked in and the music playing over the speakers was so loud, I had to yell when I was placing my order. This is Raising Cane’s, yo! Not some bar or some night club where loud music is expected. Even after yelling, the person taking the order was still having a hard time hearing me. There were also a couple of «customers» who walked in before me. They had a baby with them. Turned out, they were friends or something with the employees here. The whole time I was dining here, they were just talking(loudly, obviously) to each other, playing with the babies and whatnot. That was super disturbing and quite frankly, annoying. Thankfully, they finally turned the music down right before I was about to leave. But on the reals, this has been my worst experience at any Raising Cane’s. The chicken strips were still good though.

Probably my favorite fried chicken food chain in Houston. I always order their chicken strips and it never disappoints. It looks like actual white chicken meat when I tear a piece off and eat it. Not too dry nor dripping with too much oil. Plus that honey mustard sauce is heaven. Don’t forget the Texas Toast too. My meal isn’t complete without it. The customer service through the drive thru is awesome also which is always hit or miss at any fast food chain restaurant.

«Yay! I’m a fan!» Raising Canes is really the only fried food I still eat. The sauce is amaze-balls. I dip my chicken in it, I dip my fries in it, sometimes the bread even gets a little bath in sauce. Understand that I’m the kind of person who doesn’t even put dressing on salads. The only condiment in my house is marinara for making spaghetti(that’s considered a condiment, right?). So being utterly in love with a sauce kind of makes me think they put magic in the mix. I like to order the kids meal. It’s two tenders and fries with one sauce. That’s all I need. This was also very useful when I was in college on a tight budget and too busy to cook. The little 10oz kids cups also supplied my college apartment with something to fill the cupboards. That these cups come with lids to spill-proof my crazy friends, even better. Yes, the tenders have gotten smaller over the years.

Chicken strips, chicken strips! Come and get your chicken strips! You can have anything on the menu just as long as it is Shiiiiicken. What is the big deal about these places? Well originally from Louisiana these restaurants have finally made it to Houston a few years ago and with welcoming arms. Our neighbors to the East of us i.e. Louisiana decided that Gumbo was not enough to fancy us that they one up’ed us with a whammy Chicken strip chain that some would swear rivals the flavor of Popeyes that is also an originate from New Orleans, L.A. I’m going to condense the rest of this review from my experience in two other restaurants in Houston that I had the pleasure of frequenting. Customer Service: There is something in the training book that keeps everybody within check from one store to another that denotes everybody has a well behaved, almost cheery attitude if not professional and something you would hardly find in another fast food place. I’ve studied their manner of communicating and have never witnessed anyone speaking less on aptitude past a graduated high school graduate. Most of the employees I have interacted with seem to have the tale tell signs that they have the professionalism and the way they carry themselves to be in restaurant management one day there. McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King and others, you all need to take heed and coach your hiring managers to find people like these! Food: Did I ever say you can order chicken here? Well, strips is all you will have the pleasure of picking from. You CAN however get a sandwich, but it will be in a 3 piece chicken strip form placed strategically in between two buns with their secret sauce. Texas toast(it is what I will call it but do not imagine a restaurant originating from Louisianna would name) is what I will call this is always presented to your pallet with a nice crusty crunch. The french fries are the wavy crinkly semi skinny build. Not as good as addictive McDonald’s but it’s up there. Oh, you have to try their coveted freshly squeezed lemonade. It is a little up charge as per say the high fructose syrup drinks you get at the fountain that is included in their«combos» but it is only .60 cents. Cleanliness: Always clean, usually always somebody in the lobby wiping the tables. There are not many tables for par the customer crowd that I am used to seeing but you can guarantee a dirty table will always be attended too within a few minutes during peak times. Parking: Somebody planned them right. In fact in all three that I have visited, the ratio parking to the tables that are inside seem to dictate with each other the amount of customers that linger here during peak times. In other words, if the parking lot is full, you can guarantee the lobby is full as well. It’s a good tale tell sign but sucks to be you if you are one of those that have to wait for a space to open up, but it is worth it.

Yeesh, some of these reviews are harsh… This is a Raising Cane’s. It is a franchise. This means most everything is standard and regulated, which this location was. Our food came out within a few minutes, piping hot and delicious! Prices are a bit higher than other fast food places, but honestly, I’d rather come here. The food is great and consistent. To the reviewer that suggested they forgo the Texas Toast… whhhhhaaaattttt… that’s my favorite part! I come here to indulge myself. If I’m going to waste calories on fried food, you best believe I’m going to go all the way! Yes, they charge a nominal fee for lemonade refills at any location. Yes, it kind of sucks, but thems the breaks. So, usually what I do is get the lemonade and once I’m done with that, refill it with half unsweet/half sweet tea. I don’t think they’re trying to directly compete with Chick Fil A considering pretty much the only item here is chicken fingers. I know of quite a few people that don’t like the pickle-juice batter CFA uses, so this is a great option. Personally, I like both for different reasons, all just depends on my tummy.
