I knocked of 30 pounds in about 8 weeks and have kept it off now for 5 years. Yes the program is expensive and you must follow it too the«t». But what is it worth to change your life and change your habits. I allowed me to get off blood pressure and cholesterol pills, allowed me as a 56 year old man to still work in the heat, water ski, hike, bike, etc. Was that worth $ 1200, HELLYES. Are some of the workers«tough» hard sellers: yes. But I would do it all again. The program makes you realize that what the vast majority of people eat is total junk that you become addicted to.

I remember seeing the commercials when I lived in Houston for this weight loss program that could guarantee to help anyone lose the weight they wanted to lose. I at that point had been working out on a daily basis and had struggled with weight quite a bit since I started college, was planning to get married within a year and a half and wanted to look good for my wedding, and also was interested in it because I wanted to start a family not too long after I got married so with all the working out with no results I thought I would give this a shot. That was probably a huge mistake. i mean sure i think over all after the time I spent on this weight loss program let alone the $$$ of it for 3 months of being on the program, but i think that is how you lose weight is the stress and pressure that they put you under. The food and snacks, the pills that you pay for are a big financial commitment needless to say despite the start up money you have to pay as well. I went to this place religiously like they required even on a busy schedule of being a student and working full time i made the time to come at least 3 times a week like they wanted, which is another thing you lose with this program a bunch of time! I remember at the weigh ins there was one nurse at this location who was one of the nastiest women in personality I had ever met and made me cry several times, one time i was on my cycle and of course women know we bloat retain water etc during that time well she gave me a half hour lecture on how i must have been cheating the diet and that I was just going to get fatter because I was not putting in enough ambition to lose weight and that was the problem not my period! I did not like this nurse and I hope for any woman’s sake that at least this woman is no longer there! I was put on so many basil/vinegar flushes and other things and still no matter what i did what hoop they told me to jump through i was not able to lose the weight they had me anticipating with all the things I had been doing. On top of this diet i was going to the gym hour or so before and after class every day, I was in culinary school and wouldn’t even allow myself to eat the foods we made in class but brought my lunch every day, I mean i was really dedicated, who would pay all this money and not be dedicated? Needless to say i gave up and got frustrated and was tired of that one nurse so i quit the program and gave up plus I ended up moving anyways to Florida. I am now happy that I have found out that the reason why it is so hard to lose weight for me is because I have PCOS and also my thyroid was causing a problem, so now with diet exercise and putting myself with dr on a thyroid medicine I was able to lose weight easily up until I got pregnant!

Be careful and ask lots of questions about this program before you sign up. The employees there run very quickly through the«details» and won’t give you detailed information about the diet program before you pay in advance for the cost of supplements/vitamins, etc. QWLC does require you to visit the center daily for the first two weeks and 3 – 6 visits after that. Supplements and vitamins are required 3x daily and must be purchased through QWLC. Lots of pills, lots of visits, not enough information or guidance.
