Love coming here for lunch and dinner! Quick and very good food! Chicken Vincent is my usual order. Good parking too.

When I crave Italian food, this is my go to casual Italian joint. Most of the time, I have good experiences here. Occasionally, my food does come out cold or lukewarm. But the dish I always order is the eggplant parmigiana with sautéed spinach. I love this dish, when it comes out hot from the oven. The eggplant are sliced thin with flavorful tomato sauce and sprinkled with the right amount of cheese. The spinach is sautéed with garlic, very simple yet yummy with that smoky taste(cooked on gas –high heat). They give you a small roll which I like if it is cooked correctly, crisp and fully cooked in the oven. Sometimes, it tastes like it is still undercooked a bit and not hot from the oven. I recommend the eggplant dish with sautéed spinach which cost about $ 10. The service here is good and the cashiers are always nice.

Let me start off with saying something positive. They have a friendly service staff. But if you think that it’s impossible to mess up Italian food, it’s definitely possible here. Ordered a chicken parm. Definitely not what I would expect of a chicken parm.

I got take out here, they forgot my bread :-(but other than that it was pretty good. I got a pasta dish which chicken and my bf got a panini. We didn’t spend too much, and the food was really good. My pasta was pretty good(better than olive garden, but like a lot cheaper) and the chicken was really good, very juicy… and kinda surprised because we were 15 min late picking it up AND had a good 15 min drive. My bf’s panini was way better though. I waited in the car cuz it was raining, but as soon as he opened the door you could smell the rotisserie chicken, so next time totally getting that.

I stepped away from the table with my kids to get drink refills. Our jackets were still there mind you. When we returned our food was cleared from the table. We still had half a pizza square and a good portion of a pasta dish.

The roasted chicken is gooooood! It’s well season and slow cooked. The mashed potatoes and greens beans are perfect. Best of all you get your food in maybe 10 minutes or so.

Service: excellent! I told the staff what I like and they made a recommendation. Glad I asked, green beans were fabulous! Restaurant: clean and well maintained Food: delicious! I had the rotisserie leg and thigh with a salad and green beans. Chicken was well seasoned and the salad had the most delicious dressing. The green beans were the best I’ve had anywhere(made with garlic, oil and breadcrumbs). The latte was tasty too! They let me taste the pumpkin cheesecake gelato– fantastic!!! I was pleased with my experience until the end. Only downside is the bathroom smelled terrible. It’s that old nasty moldy dirty smell. Gross!

The place is an Italian version of la Madeleine(?) or that’s how I felt when I stepped through the door. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ravioli: this picture has been modified for aesthetic purposes but really, it tasted like a horribly cooked TV dinner. It wasn’t inedible but I mean, why spend $ 9 on something that I could go grab in the frozen isle for $ 1.50. The inside of the ravioli was lukewarm, which was really unpleasant and I didn’t like how dry it was as well. The tomato sauce made this dish edible. The sauce was actually good so I didn’t want to give up on it completely.(Oh I also didn’t pay $ 1.50 for this so…) I probably won’t come back. La Madeleine is right around the corner and I prefer their food.

Not sure if maybe we came at the wrong time or ordered the wrong items but my visit to Pronto was not the most memorable. I came in about an hour(?) before closing this past weekend, the place was dead but clean nonetheless. I ordered the chicken Marsala and my boyfriend ordered the chicken Parmesan. When we got our plates we both thought the portions were smaller than other restaurants, especially when you pay almost $ 30 for your meal. We didn’t dislike anything but it just didn’t live up to our expectations. My food was a little cold and they probably have the worst«garlic» rolls ever. On the bright side, the service was still great regardless of our timing. All in all, i’m sure it’s decent but there are other places nearby where you could get something better & more filling. I’m not sure if I’d come back again, but if so I will order something different!

Our go to spot for Italian when we have our 2&4 year old with us. Also our go to spot for Italian take out. The caprese salad is a must. Beautifully fresh and presented well. I also am a total fan of their tiramisu. To die for! Typically, we’ll get the pasta pronto and it’s enough for me and my husband once we share the caprese salad and dessert. If you need a little more you can add an extra side of pasta(fettuccine Alfredo, pasta pomodoro) and really have a huge meal and great bang for your buck. The staff is always accommodating with my special needs child and very attentive without being irritating. I’m a fan.

Met up with some old friends to catch up. Old, as in elementary, middle, high school, and college! We needed a kid friendly place that was central to where everyone was coming from so this was the pick. I was a bit concerned after looking over the reviews, but hey, I kept my expectations low. Fortunately, my worries were unfounded. Parking was ample, the space was kept clean, the staff was polite and efficient. One young man in particular(Robert?) did an excellent job of maintaining nearly everything and everyone on the floor by himself. This isn’t a place that people generally tip at, so I flagged him down and gave him $ 20 telling him to keep up the good work :) The food is decent. I’d say a step up from Olive Garden(minus those bread sticks!) and very fast — Pronto, if you will. Garlic rolls: good, not a must have Fritto misto: breading was ok, shrimp overcooked, calamari decent, lemons strong, marinara runnyMargarita pizza square: surprisingly crisp crust, good balance of cheese/sauce/basil Cannelloni: good portion size, pasta cooked well, flavorful filling, very rich Chicken Vincent: signature dish, only one artichoke, light sauce, juicy chicken Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and some of us packed leftovers. The casual environment let the kids be kids at their own table while we adults chatted at the table beside them. I wouldn’t mind stopping in again for something quick and pretty tasty.

Stopped by this place with some friends while in town for a wedding. Nice place. Order from a fixed menu up front and then seat yourself. At least during the lunch hours. My wife had a salad with chicken that was good. The honey vinegarette lasted good. I had the meat ball panini. The meatballs were good. They weren’t hard and overcooked, but were soft and delicious. A little bit pricey but a good place to stop with a an Italian flair.

Let me start by saying this place sucks. I ordered the linguine diavolo. Not terrible but lacking of any flavor whatsoever. Also ordered four garlic rolls to go along with it. At $.25 a pop not too bad. My wife had the Chicken Marsala with a side of fettuccine Alfredo. No lie, they were both cold as ice. I didn’t believe her so I had to see for myself. The chicken was paper thin, cold and had zero flavor. My son had the penne pasta with meatballs. Guess what, cold. And the pasta was beyond al dente. Undercooked is an understatement. I tried repeatedly to send the food back but my wife wouldn’t let me. She said«what are they going to do? Microwave it?» On a side note, I saw the table next to us sending a plate back. Couldn’t hear why exactly, but I saw the waitress return the food to the chef and the chef went ballistic. Throwing his hands in the air like a lunatic. Heat your food up next time good sir. This restaurant inspired me to get a Unilocal account so I could give them one star. I wish zero stars was an option. Don’t waste your time, I’d rather go to the Olive Garden than this craphole.

So we got here with high hopes since this place is always crowded and at a decent place. The menu was a little confusing, i ordered from the panini menu, rotesseri chicken thing, thinking that it is a panini. And i told the girl that i want rotesseri chicken panini. And my wife ordered penne pasta with chicken(julia). We sat down and order came with in a minute. Which was reallllllyyyy fast and we said wow. To my surprise it was a chicken with salad not a panini. Not a big deal since i understood the menu wrong but the moment we ate the food we realize that it was not made to order, it was made for order. The chicken was cold and the penne pasta was not cooked thoroughly. To our surpise penne pasta has some angel hair pasta too i guess that was free with penne ;-). The amount of chicken in pasta was like they shred a mini chicken wing and threw it in pasta, sauce was burned and watery. So we gulped our food and got out. Didnt even wanna order dessert. Never going back!!! On the top of that, my wifes stomach hurt bad after she had her pasta. Believe me, she makes better pasta at home just by getting recipes off of the internet.

This is my go-to place when I get tired of Zoe’s. Yeah, the food here isn’t as health conscious but it is very frest & tasty! The store is medium sized with tables inside & out. Walk up counter for ordering, self serve beverages(unless you order wine), find a table & wait for your food. By the front counter they have various items for sale(most from Italy): pasta, olive oil, etc. I love the Insalata Pollo which you have a choise of leg/thigh or breast/wing served with their chopped salad of mixed greens, artichokes, pears, pepers, garbanzo beans, gorgonzola & candied walnuts tossed with balsamic vinaigrette. I love this dish so much that I really haven’t taken a good look at what else they have to offer but I will say that H has ordered the Chicken Vincent which he was nice enough to let me try. Super tender chicken breast that is coated in parm then sauteed. Topped with artichoke hearts with lemon butter. Mmmmm, mmm! If you have little ones tagging along, they sell pizza squares so you don’t have to order a whole pie. Service is friendly & quick. Located on the outskirts of the hell that is City Centre making it is easy to get in/out.

I dine at Pronto Cucinino frequently and use them for small catering(6 – 8 people) once a month. The food is always good, fresh and served by friendly competent staff. I like this restaurant a lot! If you want a very good lunch meal for about $ 16, cooked to order, and need to do it fast this is a great place. It is also good for dinner with wine, dessert and cappuccino for about $ 30 per person. It is not a fancy place so if you really want to impress a date or customer — might not be the call. My favorite dishes are chicken Marsala or rotisserie chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Salad and bread are also nice. These dishes are so good I haven’t tried much else on the menu. Enjoy!

I was in the mood for Italian in the city center area and thought of this casual eatery. This restaurant is owned by the Nino’s and Vincent’s folks, so I figured it had to be pretty decent. I finally settled on the rigatoni rustica since I wanted Italian sausage in my dish. I also ordered an iced tea. I was disappointed with the pasta dish though since I was thinking it would be large slices or chunks of sausage. Instead, it was microscopic sized pieces which you could barely distinguish(in taste) from the orangish-colored cream sauce. The garlic rolls which come with the entrée were a little chewy in my opinion. At the cashier area, they handed me a cup with a crack in the bottom of it, but I didn’t notice until I had filled it with iced tea and brought it back to the table. After looking back, I had made a long trail of liquid on the floor from the drink station to the table, my chair and everywhere around the table. I had to go get another plastic cup obviously. Another thing I didn’t like was that for being a casual eatery, there were no napkins to be found anywhere, so I had to get up, track down an employee and ask for more, not to mention a cleanup crew for my earlier mess. My dining companion ordered the Fettuccini Pronto, and even though I don’t like Alfredo sauce, this dish actually looked better than mine with nice sized slices of grilled chicken breast. I liked the price though, as this is a good alternative to some of the higher priced establishments in City Centre. So I applaud them for that. The atmosphere, cashier area and serving line almost reminds me of an Italian version of La Madeleine.

Cashier XYZ is what I am going to call the cashier for Unilocal review writing purposes. Cashier XYZ. Rude as it gets. No greeting. Shouted are you guys ready to order in the most uninterested tone known to mankind. No eye contact. Tapping her pen nonstop while taking our order. Sliding my card, as if she was trying to start fire with wood, and not communicating with common courtesy — responding blithely after probably eroding the magnetic strip, «sorry we don’t accept discover.» Finally gave a copy of my credit card receipt and said that the bottom is yours if you’d like. The pen was just laying at the edge of the counter and I’m just supposed to look for a pen when she just puts down the receipt at the opposite end. Pen doesn’t work so I tell her and then grab another one from the stack which is conveniently located right in front of the cash register but camouflaged because it’s all black and you can’t see that there are pens there until you search with deep focus. Anyways, next we got our drinks. I almost slipped because the floor was completely wet. I tried to flag someone down but they just walked right past me. Finally we got our food. I had ordered the chicken Marsala and my bf had gotten the chicken parmigiana. The chicken parm was fine and the Alfredo fettuccine was probably the only redeeming quality about the experience of dining here. My chicken Marsala was overlooked. Super dry and didn’t even taste as if it had been cooked in Marsala wine. What was even more confusing is that the«server» brought it to me saying that it was something called chicken balsamic. It’s safe to say that I am never going back here again!

Italian fast food. Not sure if Fazoli’s or Pronto are on the same level but Pronto wins either way. I’ve really been feeling bolognese or meat sauce dishes lately so I’ve been ordering them anywhere it’s offered. Rigatoni with Meat Sauce was what was for dinner last night. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente while the meat sauce was thick similar to bolognese. Meat sauce at a lot of restaurants are usually runny like marinara sauce, which isn’t how I like it. Their garlic rolls are on point, too.

The food and service at this place is in between fast food level and high quality dining. The food was very good. Whenever I go to Italian restaurants, I try lasagna to see if they make it. If they can’t, it’s almost certain that the place is not good. The Lasagna was perfect with delicious flavor. There was not too much sauce or cheese. It was a perfect blend of ricotta, mozzarella, meat and lasagna noodles. I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes. It wasn’t too garlicky, but it was topped off with caramelized pieces of garlic. Chicken Vincent is one of their specialties and its good. We finished off with tiramisu. It was nothing extraordinary, just okay. Also the prices are pretty reasonable and portions sizes are adequate(not big), but don’t expect to take home any leftovers. The décor was comfortable without being busy and stuffy. My order was always on the table within 5 minutes of ordering(on weekends). If you go there during weekday’s lunch time, you will be waiting in long line to order and get seats etc. Verdict: I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go out of their way to try this place as there is nothing special about it. If are in the area on weekends or during non-peak hours, its worth going there.
