Yes, I AM reviewing Potbelly WHILE I eat my sandwich, so pardon the crumbs. I’m like one of those people who really, really wants to try new things, but this conflicts with my fear of disappointment. So, when I find something I love, I have a tendency to stick with what I know. With that being said, I have only ever consumed three things from Potbelly: The Turkey Sandwich(in various forms such as thin, skinny, and original), the broccoli cheese soup, and the chocolate brownie cookie. I love all three of these things! The staff at this Potbelly are SUPER friendly and during lunch time when it is really busy, they knock the customers out pretty quick while maintaining their friendly attitudes. I’m sort of a regular at this point. Now, I just gotta get my check-ins to reflect this.

First time at Potbelly’s and I went there for the pulled pork bbq sandwich. At first it was me and two other ladies in front of me. We gave the man our order and he shouts it out to the next station. We get to the next station and only one man is working that station. We stand there for about 5 minutes and then he finally asks the first lady what she had. We stand there another 5 minutes while he prepares her salad. Then he asks the 2nd lady what she had. Another 5 minutes we stand while he prepares her order. Finally, he asks for help and several people come out of the kitchen to the station as the line behind me was about 10 people deep. The bbq sandwich itself tasted good. The coconut/pineapple smoothie was terrible. Instead of using frozen yogurt, he used regular ice cream and made me a shake. He said the yogurt was too frozen to use.

I’m still hungry. I will never come here again. I knew it after I ordered that I didn’t want it. Ugh.

Got there At 2pm and they were already closed. So much BS. Now I might never try them since they don’t wanna stay open for customers.

Please try the chicken enchilada soup(they discontinued the chicken southwest soup but this is basically the same thing). Add some oyster crackers in there and you’re golden. And to reward yourself for picking such a great soup, go ahead and get their amazing oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. It is worth so much more than the $ 1.25 they charge. I’m not even a cookie fan.

Potbelly’s always gets 5 stars for me. The Wreck is a solid sandwich, although I have ventured out to the skinnies and less calorie options lately. This location is great. Very friendly service and management. I work right in the building and I try not to eat here everyday, but it is tough.

This is a great lunch option for downtown workers like myself. My favorite place in the Houston Park Shops. All of the sandwiches i have had are good, but the Wreck and the Mediterranean are two of my favorites. Good food and friendly service every time. Don’t forget to grab a milkshake on your way out, they are top notch!

I work downtown and this is my go-to place for lunch. The sandwiches are always delicious, the treats(shakes/malts, cookies, dessert bars) are always irresistible and even when the line gets long it moves surprisingly fast. And I’m always amazed how the order taker employee can remember my face and my order, every time. Even if it’s been a month since I’ve been there.

The food here is okay but the service is slow and not much better than nonexistent. I stopped by one afternoon and waited about 5 minutes for someone behind the counter to acknowledge me, even though there were two people working, both of whom made eye contact. Eventually, when one announced he was going to the bathroom, the other walked to the counter and asked what I wanted. There was no acknowledgment of my order, a take out for two for a meeting. I questioned whether he actually heard me. Eventually the food arrived ready for me to carry out, but as I was handed the food, he never repeated the order to me. I dunno — maybe he was psychic or had a total recall memory, but either way, it would have been nice to give a nod or a simple«ok» . Even though the food was okay, when a business is taking my money, I expect customer service that’s more personable than I’d get if I were putting money in a vending machine.

Even though these sandwiches are catered to our offices at least 1x a week, I can’t get enough! The service is always friendly and quick, and their cookies are the bomb. They have live music(a guy with a guitar) typically playing on Friday’s which can be a little annoying if he’s too loud, but it can be entertaining as well, so I’m 50⁄50 on that. I love the TKY because it’s a bit smaller than the other sandwiches. And since it’s in my building it’s always on my radar.

I’m not a fan of sandwiches, but whenever I pass by Potbelly, it smells so yummy, so I decided to be a little daring and try this place out for lunch. Looked at the menu and compared to Subway or Quiznos, there isn’t much variety, but I decided to get the roast beef sandwich. Now I know what the fuss is about with this place. The warm sandwiches that Potbelly makes taste fresher and yummy. I also liked the price, of course it differs from what sandwich you get, but my lunch was under five bucks. The portion of the regular sandwich also lasted me for dinner, so I would rather go here than a Subway or Quiznos.

I love love the sandwiches. If you are in the downtown area this is a place to visit. My boyfriend order the Italian big which comes with capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, salami & minus the mozzarella cheese. is a big sandwich. totally for men. He enjoyed and was pleased with his choice. I order the Tuna salad minus the Swiss cheese. I got the regular and was plenty for me. The sandwiches are pretty good;(the bread is warm & fresh) as well as the chips. it is nice cozy place to sit, enjoy your food, bring your laptop and relax. It gets pretty crowded and crazy around lunch time.

My favorite part about the experience at this place is just room to stretch out with your laptop and your food — those booths in the back corner are awesome for getting work done and stuffing your face, and I do love my multitasking. The food quality is meh. But I do love being able to add the hot peppers to my meh sandwich, that almost upgrades it to eh/alright. But then comes the soda fountain — this thing is haunted, the soda is always tasting wrong and I demand soda satisfaction. I was going to give one star but there are limited«fast food» options right here since(a) I boycott Chick Fil A due to their homophobic and religious right wing intolerance and(b) Doozo just makes bad food and they should feel bad for it. So in light of that they earn two stars.

I absolutely LOVELOVELOVE their Sugar Cookies. It’s just the perfect little dessert after their tasty sandwiches. The only con is that it’s packing 550 calories in one cookie :(So I usually take a few pieces here and there and savor it through out the day. For sandwiches, I normally get the skinny turkey with mushroom or the mushroom melt with turkey, tomatoes, lettuce and a little mayo on top(551 calories equivalent to 1 sugar cookie, believe it or not). The bread is delicious and they toast it perfectly so the cheese is melted on just right. The mixture of cheeses are so savory… can’t go wrong with this combo.

I go to breakfast most mornings with a co-worker who doesn’t like breakfast food(I know, I can’t understand it either). These guys made her a tuna on wheat this morning without blinking an eye. They not only didn’t blink an eye, they did it cheerfully. Beyond that, they make that most wonderful of breakfast sandwiches the BELT(bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato). I like mine with a little hot sauce. Besides being a really great sandwich, I get a kick out of ordering a BELT for breakfast! At lunchtime they have a guy that sits on a platform above the tables playing guitar. Not that great but nicely absurd for a sandwich shop in the mall.
