Pretty good tacos, we had potato and egg with bean burritos. The burritos are tacos. Good size for the price. With the few tacos we had we were content and not full. Obviously a hole in the wall– but worth the try. They will take cards with a $ 5 minimum, tables were available– don’t judge a book buy its cover-you are there for the food not the look of the place.

If you’re local or you grew up near the area you probably get this place. I can’t stress that enough. There’s a plethora of taco ridden restaurants & trucks on the east side. Many are good. I try them all. I work pretty close and tried it a few years ago and like many places they usually have a go to item. This instance is their carne guisada burritos. Can’t go wrong with those. Don’t be turned off by the décor, just try the damn place. If you know a little about the establishment and the owners you’ll understand why. So don’t be scared, hop in and enjoy some local DH food.

For the $$$, great find! They certainly lived up to their claim to fame on the guisado tacos! Very filling and tasty. The salsa was also great. Not too spicy but you know you’ve used it. Coming back to try some of the other items they have.

Though, the interior may look a bit sketchy… the tacos make up for it big time! You can always call to place your order. I love the papas con huevo y bacon(eggs, potatoes and bacon) tacos, they are delicious. And the tortillas, just amazing. Prices are very reasonable. Great breakfast place.

Very big tacos!!! Love their carne guisada tacos and huevo con chorizo! They give you the option of the type of tortilla, but I guarantee that the portion of the protein will be very generous. My fiancé mentioned to me that the place used to be a small grocery store, but now they have only the breakfast and bakery. I have not tried the bread, but it looked very fresh and delicious.

I used to eat the breakfast burritos a lot growing up. Sure, they’re good, but I don’t care for them much anymore. The tortillas leave floury residue on your hands and on more than one occasion I’ve had a little piece of egg shell in my breakfast burrito, which is a huge turn off for me. Their salsa given with their breakfast burritos is good too, but then again it depends the day because some days it taste different that others. That doesn’t happen often though.

I was new around this area and I look up near by places to eat, and this place had 4 stars so I thought, what the heck why not order from them because I know the best homemade food come from small places! So I search for a menu but it’s a small pic and I print it out and manage to read flautas de pollo. So I call and start ordering in Spanish and its SOMELADYWITHBROKENDOWNENGLISHTHATSASIAN. So I got confused because they are advertising Mexican food and the name of the restaurant is in SPANISH. So the phone call didn’t go so well, I show up to the place and I tell her my name and I said I ordered the chicken flautas. «What’s that?!» She asked someone in the kitchen. Right then I was already getting upset then I check out the plate it was pollo guisado and I also ordered guacamole w/chips. It was the worst $ 12.91 I ever spent in my life! The chips weren’t homemade! The guacamole wasn’t good! I wanted to drive back and get my refund but I’m not that kind of person.

Wow insane this place only has 3 reviews. I have been going here for Carne guisada burritos since I was 10 or younger. I’m 31 now. The best breakfast burritos and Carne guisada in town. Shocked this hidden gem only has 3 reviews!

This place IS open for business despite what it looks like on the outside. All you have to do is peak in to verify that… People are packed in waiting to get their breakfast fix. And I am glad I was one of them despite how out of place my rodeo boot wearin self looked! The tortillas are definitely in house and not that thick bfast crap the other places rely on to keep the goods from falling out. Chorizo egg and cheese — out of this world. Did not need salsa. Potato egg and cheese eaten later cold because the size of these things are ridic, still amazing but amazing with salsa which only enhanced the taste — not covered up the original flavor.(Yes, I realize how awful this preceding sentence was grammatically but I don’t care. This place is just that awesome! It requires enitrely too long run on sentences to describe it!) Will be back sooner than I want to admit…

Good Breakfast Tacos Pros: — tacos are made or order — fresh made tortillas — large portion size. Two tacos more than fills me up. — shredded cheese is available Cons: –salsa is very mild. Porras makes a solid breakfast taco. I just wish their salsa was more spicy.
