I hate pizza! For real I really do not care for it at all. But I had an Italian sausage, onion and mushroom pizza from here and ate seconds the next day. It is really really good pizza. I was super and pleasantly surprised. The onions and mushrooms were clearly sautéed and the sausage was on point, seasonings and all. Only wished for just a tad more sauce.

Pinks usually rocks. I LOVE that they have nondairy cheese!!! But today the pizza dough wasn’t cooked through to the top. Def will give them another chance as this is the first time they’ve dropped the ball in the four years I’ve had their pizza. Had it delivered today and even though the time was 60 min when I ordered online, it was here in 30. Before today, I usually order their garlic & jalapeño pizza; best I’ve had in Houston. The nondairy cheese and spinach was good, just the dough was not finished right under the topping today.

There’s something magical about a really good slice. Doesn’t take a lot… nothing fancy, no exotic ingredients, just quality dough, a good red sauce, and perfectly charred cheese. Pinks has what daddy needs. I have to admit I do find some of the other reviews amusing, talking about it being bland. If you can’t appreciate letting the flavors of your ingredients shine, and rather opt for overly salted and seasoned pizza, Dominos delivers. I think the seasoning is great and well balanced and the quality ingredients sing. But maybe that’s just me. If you REALLY want a nice flavor punch, grate some Pecorino Romano over your slice. Sorry Pinks, even your pie can’t make prepackaged parmesan taste good.

I think that it’s really neat that they opened up a pinks at the airport. I really wish they would bring back the grinder they used to make. I don’t think I can find a grinder in Houston that was as good as the one at Pinks ever! I hope that by visiting Unilocal more often I’ll be able to find one

I usually love their pizza that I’ve had at other locations, but I had a large pepperoni and unfortunately it was one the worst pizzas ever! Crust in frozen pizza is better. Tasteless, hardly any pepperoni — very disappointing especially for $ 17.00!

My go-to spot for pizza slices. I lived in NY for fours years and moved back 2 years ago, if you’ve been to NY then you know their slices are BOMB! Being back in Houston and having nothing but the typical places like Pizza Hut and Domino’s seriously sucked. That was until I moved to the Montrose area and was introduced to Pinks! Yup. I was sold. This is definitely my favorite pizza place. KEEPUPTHEGREATDELICIOUSWORKGUYS!

I have had pizza once before and I thought it was just ok. The crust wasn’t very tasty. I thought I would try again today but service was not good. Lots of young kids working that never acknowledged that I was there. Singing and horsing around. Had questions about menu but they seemed to preoccupied so I just walked out.

Not bad. Needed to order something on the way home for a cheap family dinner. I didn’t want to go to a commercial chain pizza spot so I stopped by here. It is bigger than I thought inside, parking is right in front but tricky to get out during afternoon traffic, easy to order and you can see the workers hand tossing the dough. I was happy with the flavors and freshness of the pizza. I will be back.

When you walk in, you notice a very young and vibrant crowd, both sitting at tables and behind the counter. When I walked in last, one employee literally sang a welcome to me. You really can’t find anything like this environment anywhere around town. You can order an entire pizza, or by the slice. They bake everything fresh, and the difference is noticeable. Right down to the mozzarella cheese, you can tell that everything they make is fresh. I’ve only ever had one issue with an order, which was a pizza order that should have taken 30 minutes never arriving but still getting charged to my card. The owner ended up giving me a full refund and a gift card for my trouble. That is definitely going well above and beyond to keep your customers coming back.

We ate here today for lunch and it was by far our favorite Pink’s Pizza experience. The pizza is amazing, but also Sally was super cool to my two boys out from school for a dental appointment. He let them make their own pizzas(well the dough as they called out the toppings to him in the kitchen). These guys are the coolest by far… not to mention the pizza is always utterly amazing!

Ordered a pizza at 9:55 with a delivery time of 50 minutes, so that makes it what? 10:45? Called at 10:55 and was advised there was only one driver and that she was on her way. Mind you, I’m a mile and a half away. Tried to call at 11:05 to check on the status and got a message that the place was closed. Stood outside in the freezing cold waiting and pizza finally arrived at 11:20, lukewarm at best and not nearly as good as the past two times we got delivery. Wish they had been more realistic with the delivery time because we would have made other arrangements for dinner. Hell, I could have come pick it up, the store being so close. At the very least, the phone lines should stay open until all deliveries are made. I honestly wasn’t even sure if our order was coming or if I should just call it a night and go to bed. Probably should have just bagged it as our ½ Bada Bing ½ Classico tasted like an afterthought. And the breadsticks were just like discarded crusts. Pink’s — your game isn’t so great that you can jam your customers up. Thanks for ruining what should have been an awesome pizza/Netflix night in. Look, either you’re going to order from here because you want something outside what the chains offer, or you’re not. This review probably isn’t going to change your mind. But consider yourself forewarned about the hassles. In my opinion, it’s not worth it.

Well first of all let me say I have NEVER felt the need to waste my time and make an account just to leave a review but my experience was so HORRIBLY that I have to do my duty and warn potential customers of the embarresment I experienced at this location . First of all the pizza was great so that is not the reason for the review, but the customer service was RIDICULOUS. I had the displeasure of being tended to by an older man who would seem to be the one in charge. OH boy was that a mess. I came in to this location for pizza Wednesday afternoon and the man attending me had an attitude, could barely keep his eyes open and slurred all of his words. He gave me incorrect change and when i ttied to correct him I could tell he was absolutely not there, and was falling asleep standing up. I mean seriously what the frick. HEWASLEANINGNONTHECOUNTERBARELYABLETOKEEPHISEYESOPEN. The pizza was okay but I don’t ever remember this place being so unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a manager I was informed that he was, when I asked an employee to give me the name and number of the owner they seemed frightened to do so and I was informed as a customer they could not give his number out, and I was told to write an email which I am sure would never be answered. It seems as though he has personal problems he can’t keep separate from his job. There was another customer recording him and laughing in his face and he did not even notice! I plan on making the extra drive to their Washington or Heights location in the future because it’s honestly disgusting to think someone THAT messed up is handling my food.

Don’t order online. I did, but apparently it didn’t take in their system and I wanted delivery too. Now I’ve been waiting over two hours for a pizza. They remade it, but terrible customer service and no offering of discounts or anything for the issue. I won’t be buying pizza here again.

Pizza is hand-tossed, and the prices are reasonable. They have non-dairy mozzarella cheese for vegans and gluten-free crust available for $ 2 more. We ordered the veggie which had onions, bell peppers, fresh sliced tomatoes and instead of olives, we ordered it with roasted red peppers. They have a wide variety of toppings though and a good variety of pre-styled pizza. The veggies are not as cooked as some might prefer. I like mine fresh though.

I’m a cheese pizza kind of girl so for me… A lot of the flavor is coming from the sauce. That being said Pinks pizza is completely dry… LITERALLY just cheese and crust. I get that you don’t want the thin crust to get soggy but there has to be somewhere we can meet in the middle. It’s so dry that it becomes tough to swallow! Keeping some stars on because the delivery showed up hot and at the time they said… Which is critical for a pizza joint. But I guess so is the pizza ? I’ve seen the thin crust dry pizza as a trend here in houston… So the blame is not entirely on Pinks. From looking at their menu they did have quite a few carefully thought specialty pies so for those of you who go for the toppings — this might be your place! I might give pinks another try with some extra pizza sauce for dipping on the side. It’s a nearby by alternative to Midtown’s Gotham pizza

Perfect if you are just grabbing a slice for lunch or ordering a whole pizza. The pepperonis are so crispy and delicious! I love that even when you order pizza by the slice it is freshly made for you.

We had just seen a pink limousine, so thought it must have been a sign from then food gods when we drove by this pizza place. It is BYOB, so I was able to get a fountain drink from next door and by the time we walked back, our Supremo was ready. It was actually really, really good! I enjoyed the atmosphere too. A few tables with stools, one small tv, open view of the kitchen where they hand toss your crust. We will be back!

Best pizza I’ve had in Houston. I’ve been on the hunt for some killer pizza after I just got back from my trip to Miami. Believe it or not, there are some pretty creative pies out there in the sunshine state! I went to Pink’s to drop off flyers for an upcoming music event I’m hosting. They were more than happy to put some handbills on the counter, a flyer on the wall and one of the employees even went and hung on in the restroom for me! I love that they support local — really great customer service. Now, back to the food — was pretty hungry and decided to get a pie. I’d heard of Pink’s most of my life since I grew up in Montrose but I never actually tried it. They whipped together a half Supremo and half Bada Bing lightning fast and I drove it back home. Oh my god — the aroma of this half & half beauty were making my mouth water. Got home, marveled at the artistry, and popped a couple slices of the Bada Bing in the toaster oven(as I do with all pizza since I like mine super crispy.) Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in Houston. While I ate, I looked up their menu to plan for future orders… I will certainly be back.

Very quick pizza by the slice, if you’re running short on time for lunch. This locations is pretty small, not much seating inside, and they’re all bar stools. I ordered a slice of cheese with mushrooms and it was ready in under 5 mins, but there was also no one in line before me. Not going to lie, I stumbled on this because I intended to go to pizaros pizza, and I didnt know it was closed on Monday.

I have heard Pink’s was so good. I was very disappointed. The crust was fresh but after all the mounds of cheese and good amount of pepperoni, the pizza was one large grease mound. The two workers were extremely nice however, I just did not find anything special or great about this pizza. I won’t be going back.

I would give these guys a higher rating just because the pizza is good, but I will never go back to a place where I have had a bad experience, no matter how good their food is. I ordered a pizza online for pick up last night and the cofirmation said 30 minutes. 25 minutes later I showed up at the store. When I came in the girl at the counter asked for my name, went to check the pizzas that were waiting to be picked up, then came back and told me it would be about 10 minutes. Didn’t do anything to check the actual status of the order. So I wait, and wait… after about 15 minutes she comes out and asks, «uh what’s your name again?» She goes back and checks the pizzas waiting, pulls my order off the bottom of the stack where it’s obviously been waiting since I arrived at the store. When she brings it to me I ask how long it’s been waiting on the shelf. All I get is a shrug. I just say ok and she walks away. It was probably obvious that I was annoyed, but I wasn’t rude or a jerk about it. Being either would be pointless. I just don’t get the attitude of completely not caring. Even if you don’t give a flying f*** about whether I’m a satisfied customer or not, could you at least do me a favor and act like you do? I can’t in good conscience give this place my business again and actually respect myself afterwards.

Low key, simple, and great pizza. Exactly what I expect out of a neighborhood pizza place. My friend and I had a craving for pizza one night. We were originally going to go somewhere else but they had closed. Driving down the street we saw the Pink’s Pizza sign and made the decision to finally try it, after passing it up so many times. We were the only customers in the shop, but it seems like this place does get a lot of delivery orders. The cashier was friendly and answered any questions we had. My friend and I ordered a 12 inch Mediterranean pizza to share and I ordered a slice of cheese pizza. The total came out to about $ 22 dollars, not too bad for two hungry people! They started up our pizza’s right away, and we got it about 10 minutes later. There are napkins and plates near the counter if you choose to dine in. The pizzas were hot, fresh, and smelled absolutely delicious. If you get the cheese pizza slice– be aware– it’s huge! Cheesy, tomatoe-y, and a good, savory crust. I tried the mediterannean pizza, which came with olives, onions, chicken, and tomatoes– and enjoyed it as well. The cheese also does not become too rubbery after the pizza lowers in temperature– I appreciated this very much. Will be back!

You get what you pay for at Pink’s. It isn’t dominos — it’s gourment pizza. The menu is well thought out, the ingredients are fresh, and the quality is consistent across all of its locations. I’ve ordered at least 2 dozen pizzas from the Gray St. location over the years and a handful from the heights. Since I live down the street, I prefer pick up over delivery so that I know my pizza will be hot. On a week night, call about 30 minutes before you want to pick up your pizza. 45 minutes or so on the weekends. There was one time that I did opt for delivery and the pizza was luke warm, but after calling they brought me a fresh one in no time.

I’m a huge fan of Pink’s, however this location was really disappointing. I came in to have pizza with my daughter on a Saturday evening and I heard an employee burp loudly on multiple occasions. I also listened to one employee talk about her«god-damn tampon.» I’m not interested in listening to excessive F-bombs and«God-damns» while I’m dining out with my child. I understand that Pink’s is a very laid-back pizza joint, but our experience was down right disgusting. I won’t return to this location in the future. Also, my pizza was served with cheese that was hardly melted and still cold. It came straight off the pizza.

Based on one delivery, I’m going with 4 stars. Maybe update higher or lower as I order more from them or set foot in their actual storefront. They brought the pizza by faster than any other food delivery has in the area and the pizza was good! I like that they have some very creative offerings as far as specialty pizzas go, but the old standby pizzas are just as good. Prices weren’t terrible, and again, the delivery was fast. Works for me.
