At one point this place was probably something. But, that was somewhere in the past, probably the distant past. Now don’t get me wrong, it is ok for what it is. But, don’t go in with the wrong expectations. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is good and the establishment itself seems like it has great potential, pool table, darts, plenty of TVs. But, even though there is a line of taps, there is no beer on tap. Even though there is a menu, there is no chef. The owner is the cook. So, when she is there, you can order food. Unfortunately, we were hungry and she wasn’t there. Happy Hour consisted of well drinks only and then they were charged at what seemed to be a regular price, $ 3.75. We were the only two people there when we got there and a little more than two hours later, there were still just a handful of regulars in the place. When asked if/when it was busy, the bartender said that it’s mostly just regulars and it would only be busy if they all showed up at once. lol Bottom line, it appears that this business my be severely undercapitalized. If there were more patrons, there would be more revenue or if there was more investment, it would bring in more patrons – conundrum.

I live near and I’m happy I found this place Christy is so great! Everytime I come in I feel so welcomed! I come out on Fridays and usually have a great time with the music they play. The drinks are good, if you just need a place to come meet a nice crowd I would recommend this place. The bartenders are excellent at making sure you have what you need!

Was served graciously by the owner Christy! Hand cut and beaded chicken and hamburger patties formed and seasoned by hand! The owner does it all with pride! Interior is to die for, lots of recreation, tons of TV’s and nicely decorated/maintained bathrooms. Drinks are generous and prices are LOW! She even serves breakfast with a side of «brunch» drinks! A wonderfully friendly neighborhood bar that is a must-stop for my husband and I from now on!!! Oh, and BTW, I think the low reviewer must be an idiot-this is the best bar and grill I’ve ever been to!

Worst experience ever. The bar has a great set up but i walked in on a Saturday night and there was two forty year olds in there. No music. Totally silent. I felt so uncomfortable it was ridiculous. We bought one beer and went to hooters. It has great potential, but as of right now, do not go here.

It was before noon on a Sunday, and the boyfriend and I were looking for a place to watch the Texans and hopefully have some tasty food. We were in the area to check out a sale at a local flooring store, and Ryan located PH2 via the trusty Unilocal app! PH stands for the«Pour House», so don’t be confused by the sign and expect phở… I honestly did. The inside of PH2 resembles an old Bennigan’s location and I gather to think that’s exactly what it was. They haven’t changed anything about the décor, but they did have cold beer and a bartender… and that’s it! We were literally the only two people besides the bartender/cook/electrician/mulit-tasker named Karen for over an hour. Once the regulars started rolling in, I can see why they keep coming back. It’s not fancy, the food wasn’t 5 star but dependable and affordable, and it takes on a feeling of a bar like Cheers. FYI, they serve breakfast and lunch/dinner items and most were under about $ 10. The chicken fried steak strips were pretty darn delicious, and nothing beats a fresh batch of thick cut fries. I did enjoy myself, but can only give stars due to the fact that you can smoke inside and their beer selection was next to nothing due to the taps being out.3

I had to make a quick trip to Houston on business and on my way out of town just wanted to grab a nice lunch. I stopped in here because it was nearby and because of the high rated reviews. What the reviews say are true. Very laid back atmosphere with plenty of TVs. The waitress/bartender made a point to get your name and called everyone by name when talking to them. I was there right at lunchtime and there was only about 10 people in the whole place. I originally ordered the Reuben sandwich but they were out of corned beef so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It was fantastic. Made to order and juicy. The only reason I am not giving this place five stars is because it was a little slow, didn’t have what I originally wanted and it allows smoking. I guess that goes along with the laid-back atmosphere but for a lunch it just needs to be a little quicker, especially when it’s not crowded. I could definitely see hanging out here after work.

We had our first experience last Saturday at PH2, and left very disappointed. We had been invited to attend a benefit, but we were also excited to try it since we’ve heard good things in the past. It took almost 10 minutes to get our first beer, after we asked two different bar tenders. It was somewhat busy, but there was room at the bar and there seemed to be a lot of staff who were NOT serving customers. We asked three times before we brought an ashtray(by a customer who wasn’t using his anymore, I might add). I asked for a lime and was told they were out. My husband initially drank a Guinness, which was completely flat. After setting our empty bottle near the bar edge, we waited ten more minutes before we could even catch someone’s eye. The gentleman next to me had asked two different bar tenders for a beer and still hadn’t received one. I finally saw someone to ask, who was in fact stocking the cooler. She acknowledged us but continued to stock THEENTIRE cooler including a trip for ice before getting our bud lights. The only thing that brought us to the attention of the staff at all was when we got up to leave. During the course of gathering up our things, we were asked by TWO bartenders to pay our tab. We didn’t have a tab. We had paid in cash. Overall, not a great experience. Since most reviews are positive, I will chalk it up to the possibility that they had a bad day, but I was not impressed
