A visit with Dr Ly is something akin to an interaction with an entity I’d dub«Psychbot 9000 Med Dispenser With Safe Speech Algorithm.» It literally feels as if each visit strictly adheres to this pre-programmed flowchart, which can’t be bothered to adapt to any particular crisis you may be experiencing. The talk generally dead ends with«Please go to a hospital if you feel you are a danger to yourself or others» — this is the classic finishing line in Psychbot’s repertoire. And so, the message is clear — «Take the medication. Everything will be fine. Goodbye» or «If you are a danger to yourself, go to the hospital». If this is the interaction you’re seeking, then he may be ideal for you. If you’re looking for guidance during those critical times when you just don’t have clarity of mind — I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Rude receptionist! A psychiatrist that doesn’t treat you if you have any number of disorders? Really? Why advertise if you’re not interested in accepting and helping new clients?
