Penjamo El Grande

This place is a little off the main roads, but worth it. I had the Tacos al Carbon. It came with rice and beans. To start, the salsa was good and I enjoyed it, but it has some kick for those that don’t like spicy. The reformed beans were good, the had actual beans instead of them all ground up. The rice was ok, nothing special. The tacos were delicious. It came with 3 (where most people serve 2) and they were generous with the meat. The meat was tender, had flavor and really well cooked. You get you money’s worth with good food. Will definitely be going back when I’m on that side of town.

Great food, great service and great prices! Family owned and operated with a friendly staff. It’s our new favorite place! Definitely worth the drive.

One of the original owners opened this location about 10 months ago, all the recipes are the same (delicious). Some construction on Wallisville but don’t let that discourage you as there is an entrance to the backside, or you can always call in and pick up. Good prices generous portions.
