Party Pony and Friends

Beware of these people: Party Pony and Friends petting zoo. Confirmed 3 months in advance and was told that rain chance in excess of 60% and they would have to cancel. Chance the afternoon of the party was 35%. Stated around 10am they would arrive ontime at 130pm — after stating that his helpers may not work today because they saw it rain at their house earlier that morning (an hour+ away from our area) sounded like a lame excuse (if my help just didn’t want to work, I think I would find more help & the time lapse radar showed NO rain that day north of I-​10 — any rain near their home would have been so quick and lite that it wouldn’t show up on radar). Nonetheless he confirmed again he would be there on time even if he was shorthanded. Two hours later VIA TEXT they cancelled saying «no other way to say this, but we will not make it. so sorry.» Would not answer the telephone or respond any further. Don’t trust «Mr. D». Our 4 year old and her 25 friends would have been devastated if Little Horseshoe Farms in Magnolia, TX hadn’t agreed to appear in between jobs with less than a two hour notice. Little Horseshoe Farms was great with the kids and did balloon animals also! Party Pony and Friends almost ruined a birthday party, for no other reason I can assume, than they just didn’t feel like working that day. No reason was given and calls were not answered after the UNPROFESSIONAL and COWARDLY text message to cancel. Can not explain how disappointed, angry, and betrayed we felt.
