Papa John’s Pizza

Unfortunately their app is terrible, and their open times are incorrect. We ordered and drove 20 mins to pickup, since their deliver time was 2+ hours. Less than a star for Papa Johns– they only get three stars based on the last staff we experienced based on the location mentioned below. We drove to the original location and their door was locked. Gentleman came out and said they were closed, we explained we ordered online… a female came out… we were directed to an alternate location!!! After some discussion about what had happened, Kendra (the manager), was extremely sweet and upgraded our order and apologized !! Sweet staff at 8588 Westheimer– not the other locations! GIVE KENDRA A RAISE!!!

WORST PAPA JOHNS EVER! This is the last draw. We have ordered from this PJ’s about 15 times since we have moved to the area and 14 out of 15 times there have been issues. Tonight really pissed me off though. We ordered a pizza at 11:30 pm, 12:30 pm and no pizza. We called and they pickup the phone ‘Papa Johns, we are now closed”. How convenient. I asked ‘where is my Pizza?’, stuttering the guy tells me «sorry we tried to call and confirm the order but nobody answered so we voided the order out». They claimed they called us (4) times to confirm our order (complete BS). Never again!

I ordered my favorite thin crust cheeseburger pizza & it was delivered burnt :(
Is it Mac sauce on the pizza? It’s really yummyyy. Too bad I was unable to enjoy it, so I gave it to Mikey… He eats anything!

Hmmmm… Where can I start. That pizza was uuugh. Drowned in sauce so much that all the toppings fell off. I have ordered here before and it was actually good. But now, with this crew Idk… Shameful. The pizza was poorly cooked and made very sloppy. They need their old crew or someone who cares enough to check the orders before sending them out. This particular visit was horrible and I know this place can perform better than earlier today… Step it up!!!

Not much to be said about this particular location. I’ve been ordering from this place for years. By phone in the past years, and online in more recent years.
My orders always come out right, the pizza is never undercooked or overcooked. And my pizza is always ready within the time frame they give me for pick up. This location is about 10 minutes from me and normally I leave my place as soon as I get my confirmation e-​mail and the minutes it takes me to find my car key.
Can’t comment on the delivery service because I’m not one to pay $ 2.50 delivery fee + tip and wait 40 – 50 minutes (the time frame they usually give you to get your delivery) to wait for my pizza. Order delivery at your own risk!

I will never order here again! I ordered online and was told it would be 30 – 40 minutes but that turned into an hour so I called them to make sure it was still coming and the guy who answered kept having me repeat my phone number over and over so I was under the impression that they never even placed my order once he placed me on hold. Once he got back on the phone he told me the driver called me and was told they never placed the order and that he knocked on my door and was told wrong address, although I know for fact I put in my correct info because of my email confirmation. The guy on the phone said they’d remake it and send it out again. I ended up waiting another hour until the second delivery guy called me saying he couldn’t find my apartment # so I asked him what apartment he was near and he started naming numbers and told him I wasnt near any of those and I’d go to meet him and he said he was sitting in his car… really? He definitely was not getting a tip. I looked everywhere for this guy until my husband finally spotted him and the delivery guy argued with my husband because he «couldn’t find» where we lived by SITTING in his car… all in all, my money was debited back to my card and never will I order from this location again!

Wow. Appalled is really what I’m feeling for this location and the Corporate office in general right now. I used the app to order and paid with my card, the store called 1 minute later telling me they no longer deliver to my area. .what?! I ordered a pizza from them 2 weeks ago and it got here just fine. So I called the corporate line and was basically told that this was my areas designated location but they could not make them deliver the pizza to me. .again what?! So now I’m out my dinner and out the money I had for dinner until they are able to credit it back to my card. Unfortunate circumstances that this was the last funds available on my card.. Thanks pappa johns on Hillcroft for my lack of dinner tonight and inability to now get any substitute. Really ‘appreciate’ the lack of taking care of your customers.

Every single time I have tried to order BUFFALO wings, I have received BAR B Q wings. The last time i ordered from here was around 3 pm on a Tuesday and it took TWO HOURS to receive my order. I was told when I called back after one hour that it was on its way. This store is less than 2 miles away.

I am increasingly disappointed with this place. Twice they have gotten my order wrong, twice they have taken over an hour, and twice they have gotten my address wrong. I ordered online and double checked everything was correct and it was but they still use an address that they made up.
The one time I complained the manager seemed like she could care less. So I am done with this place. I do not recommend it at all.

I love their pizzas .I moved to katy few months ago I really miss their pizzas… aand specially the manager he is so nice and patient :)

We ordered a Large, All The Meats Pizza tonight and it was outstanding! I have to say the crust, the seasonings, the sauce and the meat all were perfect.
I ordered at 5pm and had the pizza by 5:25.
I will definitely order from them again.

ordered online for delivery, but after an hour decided to call.
–was transferred 3 times and waited for 5+ mins before actually getting to the right person
–pizza was just sitting there and they thought it was a pickup
–after finding out that they mistakingly thought it was a pickup, the only thing they could do was deliver the pizza that has been sitting there
didn’t offer any sort of way to satisfy their customer after making mistakes of their own.

Where do I begin? All I wanted was a pizza to eat while watching Monday night football. Then I encountered JAN! I didn’t ask for a manager so I’m not even sure how it escalated to this. She was what I call an angry bird. She wouldn’t let me talk. She was snappy rude and all sorts of unprofessional. The pizza was good but I could have gotten better service from a stray crippled dog under I10! I will stick to Pizza Hut.

I love this location! They deliver until 11 pm and take orders up to that point. I placed an order one boring sad night at like 10:58 pm and there was a knock on my door 15 minutes later. They have never let me down! Awesome Service!!!

I called for delivery this evening. I first called the Briarforest store, which is about 2.5 miles from my home. They told me they don’t deliver to my area but the So. Hwy 6 store does deliver here (which is about 3.5 miles from my house).They gave me their phone number. I informed them that they were a mile closer but they didn’t seem to care. I then called the So. Hwy 6 store and guess what. They don’t deliver to my area but they told me the Briarforest store does deliver here. I went thru the story with him but he said he didn’t see this address on his map. I gave up and called Pizza Hut. They know exactly where we are. Why do I see Papa John cars in this neighborhood all the time? Who’s running the show at these stores?

I talked to their customer service about how crappy their service was. They refused to compensate anything!!! Just made another complaint them on their Facebook wall and see what will happen. Strongly NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE to visit them (not only this location, but also other locations)!!!

Ordered from here last night. They said my pizza would be here in about 45 minutes, and it showed up in about 30 minutes. Plus, the pizza delivery person had no problem finding my apartment… every single person that has ever come to our complex gets extremely lost trying to find our place. I was pretty amazed. Pizza was hot and delicious too!

Order pizza from this location three times a month. Always good testy pizza.
