The food is always good and the employees are nice the only bad thing is that they don’t deliver anymore it’s really a bummer I can’t tell you how many times I am in the mood for Nicks grill after a long day but don’t want to have to drive there.

We bought two pizzas from this place. We got a good deal since it was $ 8.99 for two XL pizzas. My mom, nephew and I ate slices of it. However, when my sister got home, she started to eat her slice and what did she find… a STAPLE in her slice of pizza. We called the restaurant, told them about the situation and they informed us to bring it back, which we could not do that night because of hail and rain. We informed them we will bring back next day. I take the pizza back the next day. The manager/restaurant owner informs us that he can only refund one pizza because it is too late. «One pizza, but we bought two. One had a staple and second we were to afraid to eat after seeing a staple in the other». I finally accept the refund for one pizza after seeing that the manager/owner was not willing to budge, called me a liar, and told me the situation was impossible. I would never make up a situation like this. We only wanted a sincere apology and a full refund. This was the worst customer service situation I experienced in my life. Please beware of this establishment.

I must say … I been to this place at least 3 times and each time I left from there, I was satisfied. Their daiquiris are very good … One medium sized daquiri with an extra shot will sneak up on you lol … I love them

Blame it on my Yankee upbringing in Illinois. Whenever I see a sign for«Drive-Thru Daquiris,» two thoughts go through my head: 1) that is the WORST idea in the world, and 2) that is the BEST idea in the world! Nick’s Grill is one such drive-thru joint that definitely has put me in the«best idea» camp. They have managed to stay in business at the corner of Mangum Road and 290, the epicenter of construction hell, for several years. I’m sure that all the random closings of the bridge and various surrounding roadways has been tough on their business. However, they really shine at the drive-thru. My office is right up the street, so it is(too) easy to swing by for a snack for the drive home. Sometimes I will pick up dinner and cocktails to take home. They know my voice, they know my car, they know my order. It really has that feel of a small, family-run eatery. They have always been super-friendly and I know they appreciate their customers. I am a vegan, and so I was happy to find some vegan options on their crazy, wide-ranging menu. I almost always get the falafel pita, prepared the way I like it with tahini sauce instead of the dairy-based taziki sauce. It is delicious and filling. I’ve also had their onion rings, sweet potato fries, and curly fries. All served piping hot, crispy, and just the way you want them. Their drinks are all pretty sweet. I usually order the lime margarita, which is probably less sweet that the others, but still very sweet. They are tasty and potent! Keep the lid on, and wait until you get home! Is it fine dining? No. Quirky? Definitely. Nonetheless, Nick and his crew are working it. Good food, fairly priced, cooked to order, with several sides of personality. I’m happy to support a small business in the neighborhood.

Drive through daiquiri’s always get a 4 star in my book… and $ 9 for a 32oz. frozen hurricane with an extra shot holds true to that. Delicious, alcoholic, and served by a friendly Lady at the drive through. :)

I’ve had the falafel platter for lunch here twice! Very good! Falafel is one of those things that can be a hit or miss according to the recipe. These guy’s do it right, imo. Very tasty and the hummus is delicious also. Very friendly crew and quick service. The place looks cool too, with a retro feel.

I went during lunch on a week day and it was empty. The menu is big and almost overwhelming. I live close and wanted a gyro so I got my fix it I will go somewhere else next time. ** the bathroom is really clean and so is the restaurant!

Love this place! come by once a week for a daqari and my girlfriend does to. The blue tiki Hawaii is my favorite! Always an awesome spot to stop any time of the day! The food is amazing well with beyond enough choices for anyone that may be hungry.

I go for the gyro — the lamb is perfectly seasoned. But what I love about this place is that they have a very diverse menu. Some people seem mad at that but I see a place that you can go to for lunch or dinner every day or with a group and everyone can order what they want! Plus they have beer and frozen daiquiris so how can you be mad at that? So they aren’t as fast as burger king, this is a restaurant not a fast food joint. IMO staff and service is excellent!

Generic falafel, extremely generic pita bread and hummus. Skimpy and extremely overpriced, and slow service. This place’s menu is so all over the place I can’t tell if I’m at an Italian, American or Mediterranean restaurant. If you want good Mediterranean/Greek go to Aladdin’s or Niko-Niko’s.

I ordered a gyro with fries. I just wasn’t impressed. And the service was not that great. The staff were more interested in themselves and the TV. Nothing made me like the place.

Based on some of the reviews, I was not expecting much from this place. My boyfriend has eaten here before and he didn’t have a complaint like the other reviews do about service and food. We walk in and the person was eager to take our order and was patient since I usually take a while to know what I want to order. He took our order and in less than 16 mins our food was ready. We ordered a gyro and a bacon cheeseburger. The gyro was not the best I’ve ever had, but it was great! The pita was warm, the meat had flavor and the tzatziki sauce could’ve been a little better. But overall the gyro was great and I would go again if I was in the area. My boyfriend as usual ate his food and didn’t have a complaint and he is the pickiest of eaters I know. Because the service and the food were great, I gave it five stars. Overall, I will return again and look forward to a future visit.

First time here for my wife and I and we can honestly say the last. Her chicken shawarma was terrible. It looked like a cross between a shawarma and a chicken fajita taco. The hummus was very bland and generic and my gyro was different, meaning every bite was different. One bite was bland, one bite was cold, one bite was way too salty. The tzatziki sauce looked like it came out of one of those Taco Bell caulking guns they use for sour cream and guacamole. And the bacon cheesy fries, first the cheese was from a can and the bacon was cold and undercooked. COLD&UNDERCOOKED! You know how sick we could have gotten had we eaten that? Like I said, first and last. But I mean, the first impression when we walked in was the manager passed out in a booth so expectations were pretty low at that point.

Ordered Gyro, Grape Leaves, ½ Muffaletta — Delivery The delivery was QUICK, Under 30min Gyro was generous, Meat was a little dry but flavorful — I’ll order it again. The meat was not perfect slices like another review said it was so I don’t know where the hell he got that from — the meat is authentic it was just a little dry. Grape Leaves were OK but limp. Muffaletta was a good sandwich but not a TRUE Muffaletta. Staff was cool, no issues there. I’ll definitely be making more delivery orders.

The family and myself were up the road working on a side-project that keeps us busy most of the time when we’re not slaving up a storm at our 9-to-5er’s and truth be told, I’ve driven past this place for the last two years so when the place we wanted to eat at on Sunday afternoon was closed for the day… it seemed like a great time to give these guys a trip! WOW…was our first expression when we pulled up and the place was as empty as the parking lot, but it seemed like a clean place in an area that is anything but… so in we go and the guy at the counter is eager to take our order and let us know that they’ve got a great variety of food on their menu. My wife could literally eat a gyro plate at least three times a week, so that was her meal for the day, and I just had to try one of their Mediterranean platters because I needed something more than just a burger after a couple hours of good work. Our son always, always goes for the buffalo wings… always! LOL So our second WOW was after they’d brought the food and everything we had ordered was very good… it wasn’t the best we’d ever had, but definitely worth more than the great prices on their menu. We ate, spent some time together just talking about the day and went about our way for the remainder of the afternoon, but we’ll definitely be back when we all want something different but don’t want to go to three or four different places before being able to enjoy a great family meal together! #GreatJobGuys

This is one of those places that I’ve driven by many many times, but never stopped in. I knew the Unilocal reviews were meh, but we have been in the same lunch funk lately. So we decided to give them a try and be the judge for ourselves. When you enter and look at the menu, it’s all over the place. They have muffalettas, to pizza, burgers, wings, and just about everything in between. We decided to get one mulfaletta combo, one chicken melt combo, and an order of their wings. The mulfaletta was all bread. The chicken melt was ok, but the chicken was very dry, the wings were probably the worst, with the sauces having absolutely no flavor. The kitchen staff seems to be making everything as you order it so it can take awhile for the orders to come out. When you do everything you are spectacular at nothing.
