Recently they are giving out coupons for ‘dry clean 3 sweaters for price of 2′. I must have 10 to 12 of them because i spent ~$ 400 to $ 500/month there. Recently took in 3 sweaters, only to find out a cashier had decided my black Canali v-neck(with not buttons or collar) was a ‘golf shirt, and not a sweater’? OK, screw-up #1; then followed by processing the order without giving me the chance to bring in a third sweater to her liking, and keeping the coupon(#2); and then ignoring 3 comments left on their website asking for a response(#3). Yes, as can be seen all over the other reviews, they are expensive, but i am fortunate that i can overpay if the service is good enough. However, this nickel and dime stuff is not consistent with their prices. Must say my problems may be location specific as the overall service was an A– up until about 6 months ago. I was told some manager retired and since then I have had lost clothes, extra clothes, broken buttons on items given back –(buttons break, so just fix them, do not send the item back like that so it is discovered the next time one wants to use it), and now the nickel and dime treatment, and no response from management. I would consider going to another MW C, but I count 8 or 9 dry cleaners on that stretch of Holcombe alone without even checking Rice/West U. If anyone wants a dozen coupons for 3 sweaters for price of 2 my recycling bin is not emptied until next Tuesday.

Decent quality but extremely expensive for dry cleaning. $ 32 for 2 dress pants and a light sweater. I didn’t even get delivery for that price. You’re better off shopping around.

Prompt, friendly service? Yes! Delivery? Yes! Steep prices? Unfortunately so… I used MW Cleaners for years prior to moving to Houston and always loved the service and quality of work. I may be too lazy to launder and press my work clothes, but that still doesn’t mean I can’t be a penny pincher. Having my shirts laundered at $ 2.39 each and slacks dry cleaned at $ 8.19 a pop is just too high for me. It’s a shame the prices here aren’t similar to other locations outside the loop! Farewell, MW Cleaners.
