These guys may not have a big selection on the guitar side, but they are very knowledgeable.

(opinion) — if you love snobby employee’s. this is the place for you. if you wanting to start playing an instrument or wanting to get into music. don’t bother they wont give you the time of day if you not a high roller or a professional. i used to go to this this place for the really helpful employee brian. the place had a lot of heart. but since he left its not the same. (summary) — - — -(-)usually find better prices at other place,(-)snobby employees,(+) nice instruments,(-) small selection.

This is what a music store should be, a place with knowledgeable staff, that are not so high on the hipster stratosphere of self endearment, as to treat every customer that is not«cool» with contempt. They do not have much selection locally, but are able to order for you. They do have a selection of used instruments. The best part for me is that they also cater to brass and woodwind musicians, because, yes, not everyone shreds on the guitar. They have most of the supplies that high school band musician would need for class, which is great to get kids into music. If only the larger, more well stocked local music stores had this kind of service, more people would not look at a trip to the music store with such dread. It’s still no H&H, I miss those stores, but with this kind of service the may well be in the future.
