The food was ok had a Chicken Pesto sandwich and instead of Potato Chips I decided to pick up a small dish of mashed potatoes from their salad bar. OMGANDWTF! The Potatoes were $ 11.99 again WTF! I will NEVER eat there again. Come on the potatoes were more than my sandwich and Coke.

i couldn’t help but feel ripped off for getting their spaghetti and marinara from their salad bar. We’re talking less than a cup full and that alone was $ 7. Not even home made but canned crap!!! Sandwiches are ok but their deli meats are very salty. Breakfast is ok if you like powdered eggs. Grape leaves lack flavor and were very mushy. Best thing to eat here? the fruit. There was a lady working behind the food line not wearing a hair net(she had curly hair) but glad she wasn’t serving my food. She wasn’t very respectful towards the staff that were working with her in the line either. I’ve seen them work hard and it wasn’t necessary for her to be snippy with them especially when she’s the one in the way. I’ve only seen her once but you can tell she was someone in upper management.

Murphy’s offers passable sandwiches at a reasonable price. If you are looking for something different than the usual tunnel fare of Potbelly or Which Wich, you might as well give Murphy’s a shot. Stay away from the French Dip and focus instead on any of the paninis, especially the chicken pesto.

Food from 1 to 5, I give them a 1,5 breads aren’t fresh as they advertised the bread comes frozen then they defrost it. They advertise tomato wrap but the one they gave me was a regular wrap, they said they were out of it, if they were out they should it told me, I left without my wrap. Murphy’s Deli, why are most of your stores for sale in Houston? I heard many don’t agree with your new menu and prices. Something I agree the prices are to high!

Good tasty sandwiches at a reasonable price. Much better experience than eating at hospital cafes. Take the extra time and find this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Jersey folks here. We knew coming in that Houston deli was probably nonexistent. We happily found this Murphy ’ s location and were pleasantly surprised. I’ve inquired about several things that looked like they were house — made and I was right. The salad bar is fresh with mediterranian favorites, the sandwiches are great, and the staff is so accommodating. What’s not to love?

I absolutely LOVE Murphy’s tuna; noone else beats it in my book! Anytime I feel the need for a tuna sammie, I just head downstairs and grab a half sammie; OHYEAH, and I can’t forget a deviled egg or tow(they are SO addictive) They charge you for a full drink if you only need a cup of ice in a regular drink cup; but luckily if you work here and have your own glass, you can get your ice for free. I am always going down once I get to work to fill my 32oz glass with ice for my water. I am not too crazy about their breakfast; it’s is ok, not bad though, but not spectacular. They have a nice salad bar and different food items at lunch on the hot bar like this great mushroom spaghetti and empanaditas.

First off this is the location in the Scurlock Tower of Methodist on the 2nd Floor, and yes there is a Murphy’s right next door at the St. Luke’s tower. What’s crazy is that both locations are super busy and crowded during lunch. This location is open a little bit later: closes at 5:30 while the other location closes at 4:00. I come here because I need an early dinner location. They offer hot food until 3:30 and you can get the sandwiches all the way until closing. The hot food seems to fresh and delicious. It’s by the priced by the pound and I can have a decent sized lunch for about 6 bucks. The white chocolate chip cookies are the best!
