My electricity was going haywire so I called Mr. Electric and the agent I spoke to said that they will tell you how much something cost before they do the work. When the guy got there, he took a look at cable box outside and told me it was an Entergy(my power company) problem and that I needed to call them. He did no work, it took 5 minutes and then he told me it was going to be $ 155. I asked for what and he said for coming out and looking at it. $ 155??? Not to mention, he didn’t tell me that before he looked! I’m a single mom and this was a lot of money to me, especially because he didn’t do anything but take a look. I think a decent company would have just told me to call my power company and not charged me anything or maybe just a small fee, NOT $ 155! Not a decent way to do business in my opinion. Entergy came out and fixed the problem free of charge and told me that I should call them 1st next time. You may want to call your power company first and call someone else if you need an electrician.

We have used them to install and repair sconces inside and outside as well as install a large entry lantern. The entry lantern was damaged upon arrival, but the damage(a crooked down rod) was not visible until it had already been installed. They came back to address the issue, and then helped us obtain and install a replacement light. Kathy, in the office, was so helpful, truly went above and beyond in the name of customer service and the technicians we’ve had are good too. We will definitely continue to use and recommend Mr. Electric.
