I agree totally with the other review. I called another company that had been recommended and he was out of town and referred to Richard. I explained to him on the phone the code that was showing on my washer. He said he would call me right back. I called him several days later and got the story of it being shipped to the wrong place and he would pick it up. Many days later he finally showed and replaced a part which I questioned because it was not the same part I had researched. He assured me it was the one and that I should give it a couple of days to «drain out» and then it would work. It has been weeks and still having the same code. I have tried to get him to return and he says he will get back to me and now is not responding. I am out $ 383.00. He did do another repair that was maybe $ 50 worth of the total work. I would never trust this man again!

My experience with this appliance repair firm was so bad, I had to put it upon myself to spend the time to ensure no one else was robbed by this company. I am a resident of Spring Valley Village in Houston Texas and used Moore Appliance repair. Richard Moore was the contact at 281−241−6187. He came to my residence and diagnosed my washer issue without running any diagnostics. He told me the total bill would be $ 375 and that he needed $ 200 deposit for the part. I wrote him a check and he cashed it that day. 10 days later I called inquiring about the part and he said it was still not in. 30 days since he came and I called and he stated he would check on the status. Richard calls me back and stated they shipped the part to Nevada instead of Houston and it would take another week. One month without a means to wash clothes in my home and my wife had enough. We asked him to cancel the order and refund us our deposit minus his $ 70 service fee. He obliged. 3 weeks since obliging on the refund I still have not received my money back. I called every few days asking for him to meet me and he agreed and told me he would call back when he was in my area. I never got a call back. After the fourth call I got a bit frustrated and asked if I could come to him… wherever he would be in Houston. He told me no and that he was busy so I would just have to wait. It has been 6 weeks since I have seen him or my money. Losing the money is one thing, wasting my time is the most upsetting part of the whole process. Please be warned and aware when dealing with this company. They had no problem taking my money and providing no service or refund.
