Like others, I bought a Groupon but found it IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment. Originally tried leaving voicemails, but never got any response. The online appointment scheduler does not work – it tells you to call. After several months, and with the expiration date approaching, I try calling again. They have an answering machine, but you are not supposed to leave a message… what? They want you to text. So I tried texting, but only got a response that she was currently with a client. Then… nothing. I gave up. Luckily, Groupon agreed to refund my purchase. If they don’t need the business, why bother doing anything with Groupon?

Kristie has growing hands. This girl has the gift. I love the way she blow dries hair. Her personality fits growing hands. I drive from Pearland just to get my hair done. I loved the website use to book your own appointment. She is always prompt with appointments. The best way to get your appointments is to book online.

Kristi is a seasoned, skilled stylist. I found she paid extraordinary attention to the details. Her small salon is part of a 50+ suite of individual hair stylists, which I also found confusing at first visit. So if you are looking for some over the top fancy salon with scheduling devas and frills, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for a pro stylist who knows how to expertly cut, color, highlight and style hair, you will not be disappointed.

I bought the Groupon and called to schedule an appointment, but the voicemail said to schedule appointments online, so I tried to do that but could not easily find the online appointment scheduler. So, I called back and left a message that I wanted to make an appointment. After a day, they called back and I got on the books for the following Saturday. I had long hair and was planning on chopping it short. The morning of my appointment the stylist called and had to cancel because her daughter was sick. I was a little annoyed, but she said when I wanted to reschedule she would do a little something extra for the inconvenience, so I couldn’t be too upset. However, I went ahead and found another place to get my haircut that day. Since I was doing a drastic change on my hair I had already psyched myself up and just needed to get it done before I chickened out. Two months later after my hair had grown about 2 inches I decided to try to use my Groupon again, so I called and left a voicemail explaining what had happened before and asking if someone could call me back to schedule me. I never received a call after a few days, so was beginning to get annoyed. This time I tried the website on my cell phone and found the online appointment scheduler. I made my appointment and received a confirmation email. The next day I showed up – after having trouble finding the place since I was a first time client.(It’s in a business with about 50 suites called something different on the outside of the strip center). When I finally figured out which suite I was looking for, the lights were off and no one was there. At that point I was beginning to get pissed because I had taken time away from work. I was kicking myself for thinking this place might be legit after all the hassle I had already felt I’d dealt with. Nevertheless, I called and left a voicemail saying that I would wait for 10 minutes in the lobby before leaving and to please call me back. Luckily the stylist showed up, but I was still annoyed that she was late. She apologized saying she had a house call that ran late. I would have been more understanding if she had at least called to let me know she was running behind.(I know she had my number through the online module). By this point I was just wanting to get my highlights and trim and never come back. However, she redeemed herself by being attentive and actually working in a manner that I could tell she knew what she was doing. My hair turned out really cute and I was happy with it after all the rig-a-ma-row I had to go through to get into this place. Although the customer service up front was unacceptable, I do think the stylist did a good job.

Had to agree with Logan R’s review, sadly speaking. Got a groupon deal for haircut/style. Called them yesterday(Tuesday at around 11ish am) like numerous times. NOONEANSWEREDMYCALLS!!! Well, finally left them a message and tried to get an appointment for 1pm. Visited them and found out they were shut down. Well, out of my surprise, someone called back at 4ish pm and I said sorry I already asked for a refund for the groupon as I thought you guys were out of business!!! If you are truly professional and you don’t take appointments over the weekend(because your customer uses groupon), then what about my situation(using groupon on a weekday and not picking up my calls)??? Obviously, you don’t give a crap about any customers!!! I will just go back to Mastercut then.

Kristi is a class act professional. She understood exactly what I was looking for and gave me what I asked for. I have a beautiful haircut and walked out of a salon liking how the stylist styled my hair for the first time in my whole life. And she did it super fast but was really sweet and pleasant at the the same time. She just seemed to have a ton of knowledge on cutting hair and to understand my hair(thin, limp) — I get the feeling she can understand anyone’s hair. She’s attended two different beauty schools, and regularly does extra classes in cutting hair — she loves what she does and it shows.
