Amazing culturAl arts center that provides dance classes to all ages. Classes are Monday through Thursday. Close to downtown I’m the historic 6th ward.

i enrolled my daughter here for a hip hop dance class last year. she loved it. meca is very laid back which we like. its a great place for kids to get exposed to a variety of culture and dance. it is a non-​profit so if your looking for your child to have fun in a non-​competive enviorment this place is a good fit for you. we have enolled again this year and my daughter is equally excited to be involved in the class this semester.

This is a great place for kids in and around the community to come and hang out. There are lots of activities throughout the year along with many sporting equipment to keep the kids off the street and doing something productive.
I came by during Christmas time to meet with Pancho Clause. Him and his helpers used Meca as a place to sort and distribute gifts for the local kids. They also have a huge festival where Pancho Clause sings and dances, and hands out more gifts.
It was a fun filled day, and you could see the joy on the faces of the little children.
