Meadows Southwest Apartments

Terrible apartments. Currently being remodeled. Management has no concern for the true needs of the property — such as nonworking lighting around buildings and in the parking lot at night, or the two by four piece of wood propping up my stairwell, or the fact that we haven’t had hot water four days so far in the month of September. Instead, they have built a massive stone wall that resembles the Berlin Wall. Now instead of passing drugs and money through the wrought iron fence that was here before, the thugs just sit atop the fence a la Humpty Dumpty.
No parking, not even for residents as we are jam packed in here like slaves coming over from Africa.
The two folks who work the front office are this dingy white chick Tifini who definitely had/​has a meth problem given her terrible skin and teeth and Solomon, some nigerian dude with terrible body odor. Solomon generally remains respectful but is useless. You have to go in person to make sure he is actually physically writing your maintenance request because over the phone he will just blow you off. Tifini is an idiot, unequivocally. When I applied she took my application and deposit/​fee without reading over the application. I ended up having to come back on three separate occasions to sign, initial and provide supporting docs. Had she reviewed the paperwork when I submitted it, all of that could have been taken care of that day. Then on move in day I rec’d a different unit than agree upon (smaller, not the same layout and not first floor).
Tifini blatantly ignores the ringing phone in the office and also has real difficulty tracking down packages that UPS and FedEx deliver there. I assume because her brain is fried from years of meth addiction.
Long story short — avoid, avoid, avoid!

I wish there was a way to vote less than one star however this place is so incredibly run down a dn as of 9÷5÷15 there are not one but two citations on the front door of this complex about buildings not up to code. I say two because one wasn’t enough to fit all of the building’s problems. The hot tubs is out of use and instead of having a cover over it for safety reasons they have the pool open next to it and the hot tub empty (except for a bit of dirty water at the bottom).
The complex claims to have visitors parking at the end of the complex but there isn’t any at all. Even a car parked outside for a couple of hours is subject to being towed. I suppose they want to protect their run down complex’
