I love McDonald’s but the service here is much slower than I have ever experienced. Very disappointed. Not what I’ve come to expect from McDonald’s.

I have stopped here twice on recent trips to IAH to grab something cheaper than what I’d see in the airports. I try not to eat at McDonald’s, but this is a matter of convenience.
The first time I went, I was very impressed with not one but TWO drive-thru ordering lanes. Once you order, it collapses into one.
The second time I went, it was slammed. I ordered some food. They got the order wrong on the burger and didn’t put my fries in. I had to go back for the fries, and they upgraded me a size to be conciliatory.
Then I realized there’s some highly Unilocal-rated chicken place right under 59 and across the way…
