Sorry can’t give a zero however from the time we walked in the salesman seemed to be in a different world not only did he not listen to us we walked out with nothing. Told the manager about the experience and he seemed not to interested in us or our business. Went right across the way and purchased our new mattress and was upgraded at no additional fees. All I can say is way to go mattress firm. Ashley will never get my business again! Take my warning and save your hours of time and stay away from there.

DON’T buy their mattresses! It’s all crap and they breakdown within a year. Then they(Mattresses for Less/Greg) do not stand behind their product. No matter how good the price may sound, spend a few dollars more and buy a product that has a legitimate warranty and that you can research. Buy a mattress that will last. Not this junk.

I bought a bed in the Webster store in the early afternoon in early afternoon and was told that same day delivery was not a problem. I was told we would get a phone call 45 minutes before the delivery and to be sure to be ready. We waited till 7pm and called and were told to be patient. At 9:07 pm they called and said they were coming. I told them to come tomorrow and he said it would be about 10am. So we waited and called at 11:30 and Joshephine told us they didn’t know when they would come and call back later. I got a call and they said they would be here in 45 minutes. I called the store and asked if this waiting is normal. They gave me the owners phone number and Josephine got snotty with me. Greg Taylor the owner told me I was a liar about Josephine and the phone call last night. He needs to remember I am not an employee who he can chew out or lie to. I don’t need to buy from a liar who cannot make his delivery promises or treat customers with respect. Greg’s benefits from his employees should not affect their attitude to the customer. Greg does not deserve your business nor should you expect to spent a day waiting for a late delivery.

What a waste of time! Staff was so rude and knew nothing in regards to their inventory. I’m surprised the sales associate was awake. We chose this place because of it’s proximity to our home. We explained EXACTLY what we were looking for: a King mattress and to please show us the firmest, non-pillowtop, no Tempurpedic or gel one they had in the store. It doesn’t get easier than that. We were shuffled around the store weaving in and out of aisles and asked to try four different mattresses. Each time we rejected one, she said, «I may have only one more to show you.» Each ended up being exactly what we weren’t looking for. We said thank you and proceeded to leave. The saleswoman said she had maybe only one more to show us so we said ok. As soon as we tested it out, we knew there truly was nothing for us there. We thanked her again and walked towards the door. She stopped us and said, «listen, you’re making this really difficult for yourselves.» Umm…no. Learn your inventory and what customer service is.

On the website(October 25 and 26, 2013) this company is advertising a Leggett & Platt s-cape Twin XL adjustable bed base for $ 650, which is represented by them as $ 649 less that the normal retail price of $ 1299. When I called the Katy Freeway store on the evening of 10/25, the man I spoke to said that they had two in stock, but that they would only sell them together as a «split king» and they would charge $ 1299 for each. He admitted that the split-king is just two of the twin xls side-by-side. He said that he would not honor the web price, because he is «in business to make money.» I then called the website telephone number — 888−242−9146 — and reached«Bill» at about 8:50 pm. I told him what happened, and he said that I had now reached the«main location» in Houston on the North Freeway, and that he thought they had 3 in stock there, and they would honor the web price if I called back in the morning after 10 am. I called back at about 10:30 am the next day and reached Bill. He remembered me and asked me to hold for a minute. Then«Greg» came on the line and asked if he could help me. I told him I was on hold for Bill, and he said that he would handle the call. I told him why I was calling and he told me that they would only sell the s-cape twin XL in pairs as a split king, and that they would not sell them separately to honor the advertised price. I told him that Bill told me that they had 3 in stock, so I asked what they were going to do with the third one. He said that they could probably sell me one«in that price range» and I said«does that mean $ 650» and he said«probably a little less». I asked if it was the same manufacturer and model and he said no, that would be an «ergomatic» bed or some name like that, but that he would not sell me an s-cape twin xl for that price, unless I bought 2. I again asked about the 3rd S-cape twin xl that Bill said they had, and he then said«I think Bill was wrong.» I asked him to check, and told him that since they have that adjustable bed base in stock, I was going to report them to the Attorney General Consumer Fraud division if they were unwilling to honor the advertised price, and he said: «I think you should go ahead and do that» and hung up on me. I am going to report them to the Tx attorney general and the Better Business Bureau, and if I don’t get any relief as a result of that, I intend to sue for deceptive trade practices. If I have to buy the bed elsewhere, I believe that the amount I pay in excess of $ 650, times 3, will be my damages under the DTPA, plus costs of suit. Although I am an attorney who has practiced in Houston for over 35 years, I have never sued anyone on my own behalf before, but this kind of deceptive marketing can’t be allowed to go on without making this kind of retailer deal with the consequences of their marketing techniques.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. My husband and I went last night at 8 and had our new bed delivered before noon this morning. Our salesperson, Ric, was extremely knowledgable about all of their products and helped us pick out a bed, that we both liked. We never felt pressured and he did not try to sell us the high-end products or pressure us into buying anything. We have other family members that have bought beds from this store and had great experiences as well. Their selection is good and their prices are much better than the furniture stores that we have been to.

Anyone dealing with this place needs to walk NOW. I literally had my card charged for 2 items I was adding to a bedroom set I started purchasing last year and when they decided they had gone too low on the price, they had the guts to tell me I would need to pay $ 100 more or forget about the purchase. Not only was this ridiculous but Brad«the manager» was the most ignorant puke I have ever spoken with when it comes to «customer service». He was actually the one that sold me the first two pieces. I suppose it is worth it to this pathetic company to lose a customer forever and all of her referrals for a measly $ 100!

WORST return policy. We bought a mattress frame here, got it home, and realized that we did not need it.(because we were able to use the frame that we already had.) Five days later, we brought the unopened box back to the store, along with the receipt. Robert, a store employee, refused to accept the return. Very few items can’t be returned when they are unopened, in the original box, purchased within the week, and the customer has a receipt in hand. So we returned to our car and called customer service at the corporate office. We spoke with Greg. He said the return should be accepted. Within ten minutes we brought the frame back in and the return was made. The return receipt said in all caps«FORCEDRETURN.» Maybe I would buy from another location because of Greg, but I will NEVER make a purchase from the Katy location again.
