This place was so delicious. I went with the recommendation from another reviewer to get the red curry. OMG it changed my life forever. I have been back for the red curry 3 times now, would have been 4 before I realized they were closed on Sunday. The last time I went I tried the Thai tea just to try something different, and boy am I glad I did it was delicious. I definitely recommend it.

My family love to eat at Mango Tree on Grant Road. that is one of my favorite Thai restaurant besides Thai Gourmet, Thai Jasmine and Thai Chef. I am so excited to see this place on Unilocal which close by my place. I decided to try it out. This location used to be Thai Chili, Mango Tree take over it but did have new sign yet so I get confused when I came. I have to call to make sure the right place to go. I other some dishes on their lunch special: Veggies pad thai, shrimp yellow curry, house fried rice and stir fried basil veggies. — Veggies Pad thai: 8 $, taste good but do not wonderful like the one on Grant road 7⁄10 — House fried rice and sweet n sour soup: just ok, my hubby said it tastes like Chinese restaurant and I agreed with him 5⁄10 — Yellow curry: too sweet but overall was good 6⁄10 — Stir fried veggies: aww it is not good at all 4⁄10 Service was great. I think they need remodel everything inside, it looks dark and old. Seriously, I felt really disappointed because the food is not as good as MT on Grant Road. I tried to write this review to let the business know so they can fix the way they cook food. It might because different chef but we, the customers expect the same quality of good food like MT on Grant Road. I’ll come back and give they another try. If I do not see any better, I think I should stick to Thai Chef in this area even Thai Chef do not have many different dishes like Mango Tree.

The grant rd Mango Tree is one of our favorite Thai places. We were excited to try the new one closer to us on FM529. So, we decided to try during lunch time. We were seated and tended to right away! The lunch specials include a nice salad, soup, and cool fresh fried egg role. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu which was very good and made at the level of heat I wanted — Thai hot. The entrée portion was plentiful. We will definitely be back!

I always loved the original Mango Tree Thai Bistro on Grant Rd. So when I heard that they opened a new branch even closer to me and my Kungfu Studio(just two blocks away!), I was thrilled! However I saw the other reviews(only two others) and was instantly discouraged. So, I waited a while before I tried it. Needless to say it was not a disappointment at all! The food is just as good as the other location(very authentic and their heat level goes up to Thai hot) and the service was quick and full of smiles. I’m most definitely becoming a repeat customer!

So happy that another branch of Mango Tree Thai Bistro open near my place. Service was fast and polite. Their food was tasty especially curries was really fabulous(my most fav one is Red Curry). I always ordered definitely Red Curry but this time tried Pad Thai and Basil fried rice which weren’t disappointed me at all. Be back So soon for sure!

We love the Mango Tree on grant road so decided to try this new location. Same menu too. We came in and there’s an odd smell. Possibly paint? They seem to be renovating the place still. We were the only customers at 7pm on Wednesday night. It’s just opened so that’s not surprising. First thing I asked for was chop sticks and an order of the spicy crab rolls. The waitress disappears for a few minutes then returns to tell us they are out and to try the curry puffs. We get those and when they finally come out, they are chock full of oil. Seems the oil wasn’t hot enough when they got put in. Besides being overly oily the flavor wasn’t bad. I ordered a bowl of Tom Kha Gai soup and a red curry with chicken. We also got a Shrimp Mor Din. The shrimp mor din came out first, it wasn’t as flavorful as the grant road location but delicious. My curry arrived and looked delicious. Both dishes came with white rice. I reminded the waitress I was missing my soup and chopsticks. The chop sticks arrived with my curry. Because of the dish my curry came in was a boat dish rather than bowl, there seems to be less sauce than at the other location BUT it was way thicker and creamier. Very delicious. Chicken was very tender, green beans were crisp and fresh and the bamboo shoots and bell peppers perfect. Overall the curry was the best dish but I do love a good amount of sauce but the flavor was great. I want going to ask for the soup a third time and it wasn’t on the bill. I look forward to seeing the place when it’s fully renovated, but the service left much to be desired. I’ll stick with the Grant road location.
