Horrible Place. I just went to order 1 #8, 3 #1, and a vuela a vida soup small and they decide to give me a #2, 1 #1, and a seafood cocktail that I didn’t order. When going back nicely to ask for the right food the lady said its our fault not hers. We tried reasoning and even asked for her name and the person on the phone hung up. Horrible. I am going in person tomorrow personally to complain to manager. Do not come to this location. HORRIBLE!

One star only because I can’t give them zero. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. Not to mention she didn’t even get them right. All the other waitresses saw us come on and no one notified our waitress. Once we finally got our orders taken we had to wait another 30 minutes and surprise surprise she got it wrong again Me and my friend have worked in the restaurant industry so we were patient but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a mambos.

A 3 solid stars. The food is decent. There are some lunch(catch of the day) for really cheap price. The service is quick. If you are just looking for simple lunch, this is the place. It’s pretty oily and unhealthy. This is just not the type of food that I will choose but hey, This is where my boss usually get lunch for us. My boss like it and he pays so he get to pick. I usually order the 2 pieces of fish with mambo shrimp fried rice(or French fried if you like) for $ 5.45 You can’t beat this price). Last time I order a whole fried tilapia for $ 7.99It was pretty fresh. But once again very oily. I will get the fish without batter next time. Also tried their vuela ala vida cocktail(combination shrimp, oyster, fish, octopus ceviche) $ 7.49 for a small cup. I tried their mangonadas and it’s not 100% real fruit like other those authentic Mexican place. Tip: if you order Togo, check your order before you leave. They forgot my drink a couple time.

Ordered the crawfish and they hadn’t been purged. Then I found a turtle mixed in the 4lbs. They had cooked the turtle with the crawfish. They didn’t charge us for the food but we still had to pay for our drinks. I wish I had taken a picture but I was so disgusted and the waitress took the tray away pretty fast.

Don’t go here. This place has gone to crap. I called in my order, like I always do, got there 20min later and still had to wait 30min. And this is for a regular sized rice at 10pm with no customers. The waitresses were terribly unhelpful and smug. Everything seemed out of order and no one knew what was going on, no manager to be found, dirty as well And after all that waiting they Hand me a greasy bag and the rice was terrible, didn’t taste like Mambos signature rice. Highly disappointed.

I go to mambo for the micheladas alone. However, the gumbo and the shrimp cocktails are good as well and the numbered plates. What I don’t like is that now they give you(1) napkin, now you have to ask for ketchup, and now they have the small bottle of Tabasco. What gives? If I’m dropping $ 50 – 60 bucks each time I’m there at least let me have a roll of kitchen paper, big bottle of Tabasco and ketchup!!!

I absolutely love their food! It is excellent; however, my boyfriend and I dined at this location today & were completely flabbergasted by the rude behavior of some of the waitresses. We walked in and waited approximately 15 minutes in line, then we were seated at our corresponding table. It took the waitress a little longer than expected to greet us, but we understood because all the tables were sat. She took our drink and food orders all at once,(we were starving!) Fast-forward about 30 minutes later and we get our meals. Yaaay! We were as two kids in a candy store! :) Unfortunately, both of our drinks had been empty for the past twenty minutes or so… we tried to flag down the waitress to no avail. So – what did we do? My boyfriend willingly got up went to the to-go area in hopes of getting someone to refill our drinks. That’s all we wanted! We understand it can get crazy, we really do… but what irked both of us was to see how MULTIPLE of the waitresses ignored him as he stood there with two empty glassses. Not one stopped and asked to see if he needed something. So what happened next? Oh yeah! I got up went over to the To-go area and told them in Español of course…“Listen, do you know of someone around here who can offer some customer service or what?”(It sounds spicier in spanish!). So they all stare and finally one of the lost souls decided to get us our drinks. And note that we had still not seen our waitress. Then the manager has the audacity to come and ask us…“Did you get what you needed?” Yup… needless to say we paid the bill, left $ 0 tip, and left a comment. Food is awesome!(That’s why I give 2 stars). Service is awful!

Service absolutely sucks, especially if no guys are in your party! The food quality has actually gone down. I use to love their fried shrimps but now they suck. The only reason why I go from time to time is their rice & stuffed jalapeños.

Not a fancy place, but puts out some decent inexpensive seafood dishes. You can order fresh seafood by the pound with your choice of cooking style or order off the menu. The seafood gumbo had really good flavor, but had a thick almost gravy like roux. Ordered the family meal for four and it was a ton of food! The fish was basa and had a nice light crust. The shrimp was tasty as well but had been pounded flat before frying and was a little more batter than shrimp. Paid extra for the special fried rice and it was the best part of the meal. Service was okay, but had to flag someone down a few times to get drink refills.

Horrible service me and my sister walked in and another family walked in after us. And the waitress passed us up like nothing to get the other people. It shouldn’t matter if it two or five we should have been greeted as well. The food is no good either!

This place was awesome! If you like seafood this is the place to be. Of course… just about everything there is fried so you really have to like fried foods to really enjoy yourself. I had the shrimp and rice. On the menu I think they call it a #4. If you are a beer drinker you should taste their version of the Michelada. It’s made of crushed lime, tomato juice, hot sauce in a salted rim glass and then they add beer. You have your choice of what kind of beer you want in your Michelada, I suggest Dos Equis. Even if this sounds nasty to you, you should give it a try. I ended up burning off my lips for the night with all that hot sauce. LOL
