I ordered vegetable mu shoo and cream cheese wontons. Both were TERRIBLE. some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. They didn’t even advertise that the cream cheese wontons had crab in them. None of the food had any flavor, huge disappointment

If you want extemely fast chinese food delivered with mediocre taste this is it. I order this when I really dont feel like leaving home and night to grab dinner. It takes them about 15min before they are at your door.

I was in the area running an errand and decided to call in a To-Go order. I love shrimp fried rice so I decided to give theirs a try. She asked if I wanted lunch or entrée. Since it was lunch time I opted for the lunch portion. It Came with soup and an egg roll. I enjoyed it alot. Wonton Soup was good, egg roll was REALLY good! Shrimp fried rice was great! Wouldve given 5 stars but the rice had too many onions. I was literally standing over my trashcan picking them out. Would definitely go back and try something else.

It is what it is. Solid, cheap, convenient, sticky sweet American Chinese food. Don’t come here looking for an elevated culinary experience. But you’re hungry, you don’t want to leave the house, and you’re depressed that the Domino’s delivery guy knows you by name? Hit it.

I love it. Working shift work here in downtown Houston, this place has been one of my fav go to spots. They are quick to deliver and their food is great.

Horrific customer service. They’ll take 50 minutes(when they promise 30 – 45) to deliver, and then leave before you can even get downstairs to pay for the order. Delivery driver claims he tried calling the phone number on the receipt, but I have no missed calls. He left the location to make other deliveries, and then came back 10 minutes later saying it was my fault he was late with the order. Restaurant refused to assist. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for YEARS. Never again.

Under seasoned lo Mei. But fried chicken wings were okay. The deliver was quick and I’d try to order again another time, maybe another dish. Great if your lazy on a Friday night and don’t want to cook

If you love waiting two hours for delivery and peeing out of your b-hole for a week straight than this is the place for you. I suggest the Mongolian duck. It really makes for some colorful liquidy bowel movements.

I came in here to grab some food for my girlfriend and myself. We were drinking next door, but didn’t want pizza, which was all they had. This place was quick, like super quick. It took them about 5 minutes to cook my food and then I was on my way. The portion was enough for two people to share and the food, we had Lo Mein, was very good. Definitely give this place a try if you need a quick food fix in Midtown.

I had to order delivery because of a deadline to meet and did not want a $ 20 pizza. Pro: quick delivery Con: I wasn’t pleased at all with Magic Wok. I didn’t feel too well after eating. In all honesty I’m not used to much greasy foods these days but the food just was not good and not much food which was probably a good thing after. I ordered sweet & sour shrimp w/sauce on the side. The shrimp were dry. The fried rice didn’t have much of a taste. I’m throwing the rest away detoxing as I type. I really wanted to love it but I hate it…

It was tasty at first … But I’m close to food poisoning now. So. Sick. Disappointed really. :( I got beef, snow peas & mushrooms with oyster sauce. The egg drop was good but I was instantly sick when I ate a spoonful of hot and sour soup.

PLEASERENAMETHISPLACETOMAGICYUK! Ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, gross! Tasted like 3 day old chicken. NOT fresh at all. Wasted $ 13 including tip on this awful food. It went straight to the trash can.

It gets 4⁄5 for a delivery American/Chinese place. The food is consistent, prices are reasonable, and delivery is fast. Call the restaurant directly to avoid problems with third party apps.

Repurposing may be the new trend, but not with chicken! Ordered deliver tonight, General Chicken and Orange Chicken. It was the dinner for 2 meal so it came with egg fried rice, egg roll, and soup for $ 21, great price. I was hoping for small portions = good food. I was disappointed. The rice was flavorless and mushy, soup was ok — had the wonton, the chicken — both of them — were tough, no flavor except heat, and tasted like day old meat reheated in microwave. Plus side, they deliver, but not to my pad anymore. The crazy thing is they sounded really busy when I called in the order. Maybe we tried the wrong thingS on the wrong night…

Ordered Sesame Chicken with streamed rice. I prefer mine light on the sauce. I am staying at a hotel about a mile away from the restaurant. I selected the restaurant based on the recommendation of a hotel employee. Delivery time was good. The chicken was dry. Seems like there was a lot of fried coating on it. Not very tasty. The steamed rice was ok. In order to make their minimum for delivery, I ordered steamed dumplings which were good but not great.

Typical Chinese food fare, but the owners are very efficient and price things fairly. I’ve ordered to go at least ten times from here, and each time my order has been correct and warm when I receive it. Lunch special is solid — for ~$ 7 you get a meat item, wonton soup, egg rolls, and fried rice.

I stumbled upon this place because I’ve been trying to venture out and see what Downtown/Midtown restaurants are out there. I was craving some Asian food one cold day and found this place. I’ve ordered from here twice now. The first time I got the Combination Lo Mein. Very good and very filling. The second time I just ordered the House Noodle Soup and some eggrolls. The soup was really good for something to have on a quick lunch break. Eggrolls were tasty. The wait time for both experiences was no more than ten minutes. It’s a small, hole-in-the-wall type of joint. It’s becoming my go-to place for Chinese food in the area. It is also pretty affordable.

Ever wondered what it feels like to get kicked in the nuts by a Chinese Guy, well order here and you will experience just that pain! — I ordered the Magical Mongolian Beef, trust me the only magic is if you live after eating this abysmal garbage. My stomach is in so much pain as I type this. The soup(Egg Drop) was good though, nothing I haven’t had elsewhere aka every other location just with a few added pieces of corn. Geez, Thanks! BoBo Platter, my friends, BoBo was angry this day. avoid this! — In fact avoid this, go to Mais and you will thank me… get the Bo Luc Lac!

I scrounge the last bit of energy I have and crawl to the phone lying in the next room. The bright screen of my iPhone flickers on and I tap my finger on the red« Unilocal» button in the corner. Instantly I have access to this wonderous database of reviews of the nourishment that I so yearn for. As I search for Chinese delivery, I stumble across this beacon of salvation to my hunger–«Magic Wok». I secretly hope that this magic place will be able to fill the insatiable void that I feel in body… :) The general Tso’s chicken is cooked properly, but it appears to have a sauce more similar to Orange Chicken. Didn’t taste bad, but still disappointing, since I love General Tso’s. General Tso would probably be disappointed as well… The eggrolls are delicious. If you are getting food delivered and you want spicy sauce(chili oil), be sure and ask for it when you call. Very fast delivery!

A great place for quick Chinese takeout. They have great combination fried rice and the shrimp are actually pretty nice sized. The other selections on the menu are pretty good as well. Very friendly staff, fast service and open late. Everything you need for quick or late night food.
