One of Houston’s best kept secrets among antique shops have closed their doors for the last time December nineteenth. My wife and me only got to visit once and we couldn’t regret it more. Inside were amazing designs of clocks, buffets, dinnerware and ornaments all authentically French. We got a few more things when we learned that it was closing down. As an owner, she couldn’t have been more joyful to give us the news. She had owned that shop shortly after moving to Texas thirty years ago. She didn’t make a fortune, unless you consider that this shop helped her travel back home at-will over that time. Its been said that smart people make a lot of money, but geniuses make just enough.
