Lunar New Year Festival

Once a year, Chinatown gets a treat and blessing from this festival. As I previously stated, I come here every year. I am beyond being a regular.
I would like to shout out to the dedicated organizing staff, Steph C and Rachel P for their hard work this year. The most impressive part is how they promoted the event. I have been receiving email updates on each featured entertainer and food item. I updated them on the Unilocal Events page. I didn’t realize how it can be useful. When a Unilocaler friend asked me about what to eat, I showed her the event page. Mmm… I never thought it can be used like a tour book.
I really like how they used the on-​site parking lot for VIP. That means festival attendees can find parking closer to the center. They also posted a parking directory on Facebook. I’m very thankful for the surrounding businesses allowed us to park at their lots.
I have been bragging about this Lunar New Year Festival to my friends and colleagues, this is one-​and-​only indoor festival in Houston. The non-​stop entertainment is hard to come by. Not to mention the emcees with fabulous voices in Houston — high five to Unilocaler Victoria M’s National Anthem.
