Greek burger was delicious! Nice casual atmosphere with very friendly service. It’s a great family place!

This a true hole in the wall burger joint or barn. Read thru reviews saying food takes awhile to get so we called in advanced so all we had to do was find a seat with my 2 Coworkers. I ordered jalapeño cheese burger which I must say was super Deeeeelish meat patty was perfect not overcooked and not over seasoned. I can taste it as i’m typing this review. like other reviewers have previously talked about how thin the patty’s are for a quarter pounder it is quite small makes you want to bring a scale out. As for the portion size its perfect wished had a few more fries in my basket but overall highly satisfied . Remember this place has limited seating so either go on a off time or call ahead of time.

I was disappointed. Maybe because I went late one night close to closing. I read the reviews and them i saw the Food Network sign. I will try them again but no time soon.

Gotta say I was disappointed. I was looking forward to a good burger. I try to eat healthy do this was my cheat meal The good. Nice, friendly customer service. The fries are homemade type. The bun. The bad. The hamburger. It was tough, gristly and not good. I didn’t even finish and my mom taught me to eat everything on my plate. 5 guys burger is way better. This one tastes like a fast food patty.

I first ventured into this place a few years back after reading an article about how awesome this place was. I went in and I was unimpressed. Great burger, but the attitude of whoever was working there(older black lady) really turned me off. She was rude and condescending. I came back a few months later and that same old lady(which I assumed was the owner, maybe?) was still there. Same great burger, but the same attitude that turned me off. Even a couple of friends that I had brought in mentioned the same thing. I came back in again and Oh Em Gee! That old lady is gone and in her place was a much nicer younger lady. I found out that this place had been sold I don’t think that old lady will ever be back. Hoorah!!! Anyway, their burgers are quarter pounders(4 oz patty) so if you want something bigger, than go ahead and double up like I do. Their most popular burgers are The Ultimate Jalapeño and the Cowboy(per the girl behind the counter) so the last time I was here, I ordered the Cowboy with double the patties and some tots! As always, the burger was legit. And now that the attitude is gone, I think I’ll be coming here more often.

So this place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall. It easy to pass up if you are not paying attention, so pay attention. I went for my lunch break around 2 and there was no long line or long wait. There was a few people sitting waiting on their food. They have the menu plastered on the wall, with plenty of options. Since I am such a picky eater it wasn’t a hard decision. I got the double bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on it. Which also came with fries for about 9 bucks… price isn’t so bad because… When I got my food my burger was HUGE. I spent a few minutes deciding how I should handle it.(cut in halfs? fours? or just stuff my face?) Since I am a big girl, I went for stuffing my face. and I am glad I did. Soooo darn good. Beef was well done, and flavor full. The toppings were well proportioned and fresh. The fries were seasoned but since I really like to pack a punch I asked for more, which they kindly provided. So the fries were cool in my book. What this place lacked was charm, ambiance and comfort. The service wasn’t spectacular. The burger seems to be the goldmine here. I also heard the wings are good, so I shall be back!

So yummy!!! We loved our burgers! My new go to for when I need to fix a burger craving. Like others said, the place is a dive. But its good, cheap, food. The menu available in the restaurant is different now than that posted online or on here. A lot smaller. And no Onion Rings or Sweet Potato Fries anymore. I didnt ask for them, so Im not sure that they Dont have them, but they werent an option on the now, much smaller menu. I tried to take a picture but I shake my blood sugar is low and its really blurry. Sorry guys. If youre in the area, stop in. We were there around 130 on a saturday and were the only people there. It took about 10 minutes for our food.

I’d give it a 3.8 or 3.9 to be exact… Our measuring stick is the bacon cheeseburger at Mom’s Diner in Lufkin, Tx. It’s hard to get a 5 star next to that bad boy…

Awesome Burgers. I got the jucy lucy and it was fantastic. Two things to look out for: really slow service and sketchy part of town. But top 3 burger joints in Houston.

After the one woman left and the original owners sold out. Little Bitty Burger Barn went down hill. I no longer eat there. What a shame too as it is so close to work.

I’ve heard about this place before and finally tried it. Great little burger joint and the beef is yummy. Very quaint and humble place. Had the big juan stuffed with blue cheese and Swiss with fresh cut fries it was really juice and fries were fresh and tasty. Husband had red white and blue chicken sand which which is basically a buffalo chicken theme. Also ordered the buffalo wings which is how buffalo wings should taste. Loved the variety of hot sauces available.

Beyond unimpressed. I had heard good things about this place and was excited to try it. The place was busy because there was an event going on, but it’s not like there was a line out the door! It was the slooooowest line, and there were only 3 people in front of us. I’m not sure if the chick running the cashier is an actual employee or a family member of the owners who was standing in for the day(the latter would be my guess or else a very poor choice of front-of-house employee), but she was definitely not adequately trained on how to use the computer; I gave her a $ 40 for a $ 20-something order and she typed it in wrong, and pulled out her cell phone to calculate the change instead(meaning my receipt was incorrect). Each item took about 30 seconds to add to the order, so we ended up getting plain cheeseburgers to(fingers crossed) make it easier. Then we waited about 40 minutes to get those 2 bacon cheeseburgers, and only got them then because we demanded them within 5 minutes or we’d ask for a refund and leave! After all that, the burgers were not impressive at all; and they aren’t all that expensive but still not worth $ 10. I think I’d rather grab a burger from the Whataburger down the street next time… *Also* the customers in front of us had their order delivered to them incorrectly twice(they asked for no onions/condiments and both times were given burgers with them), then their other burger delivered cold. They sent their food back, got a refund and left.

Charlies 5 Alarm! I did that one time and really regretted it for about 3 hours afterwards. The other guy couldn’t stomach it though, so do this at your own risk. Moving beyond that stupidity I really like Bitty Burger Barn. Solid burger options, divey atmosphere and a lack of uptight arrogance alot of other burger spots in the area posses. Tried several of the burgers and enjoyed them all.

The lady at the counter was rude. I walked in and asked for a to-go menu-and there were none. Since the board was difficult to read-and only half of the old menu was up-I wanted to see the whole menu because I wanted a salad. The lady acted like there wasn’t anything wrong with the menu. I ordered a kids burger and tots to-go. She asked me if the burger was for me. I asked why does it matter? It’s a to-go order!!! I am not dining in!!! It could have been for a kid, my grandma… and why do I have to justify a to-go order to anybody??? Her response to me, «because it matters. We only serve kids burgers to kids under 12.» I just looked at her and didn’t respond. Rude. A guy came in after me and asked for a menu too because he couldn’t figure out the menu. Ridiculous. I pulled him aside and told him I asked the same thing. She was just as rude to him. The food was good. Service was awful. I miss the guys that owned that place and the bar down the street. They would have never questioned an order and were so gracious and kind to their customers.

Like the name says, inside is a little bitty hole in the wall. Order at the counter, and find a seat at one of the few booths inside. There are a few tables outside on the deck, and on the other side of the building are several picnic tables for any overflow crowds. Pictures and memorabilia line the walls. The air condition does not work very well, and they have one old flaky TV that does not work very well either. The perfect feel for a hole in the wall burger joint. Service is supper friendly and attentive. Burgers come out piping hot and steaming. You have to let it cool, or you will burn your mouth. For most burgers, they come in either ¼ pound or ½ pound patties. Though both look like you get a little more than that. The meat is really flavorful and cooked perfectly medium. Fries are hand cut and tasty. If a bit salty. The Juicy Lucy is awesome. Stuffed with blue cheese and monterey jack cheese. This is a treat. I have always enjoyed the other burgers as well. A great local hole, that I don’t get a chance to visit as much as I would like. Up there with some of my favorite burger joints in town.

New management, end of an era. I tried to eat there on Saturday at 5 pm and the place was in a total state of panic and disarray. Luckily this gave me a long time to look around and see that TOO Much had changed. I didn’t know at the time that new owners had stepped in, but I guessed pretty quickly. No more bacon bacon burger. No more mama Selina’s ketchup. No hot sauces. No specials. In addition, the ac was weak, clammy and warm inside. New, sweaty vinyl pews replacing the chairs. I did not stay to find out how the food has changed. This is a seriously challenged business. Damn, sad.

This spot is just around the corner from my mechanic’s shop & waiting on repairs to finish has always been my total excuse to drop in here! :-P I recently stopped in to pick up lunch for the office. Service was very quick & friendly as usual. We’d called in our order ahead & she was just as sweet over the phone, ensuring all order were correct. I work w/some picky eaters, so that’s a must. Burgers & fries are still freshly made… all were still piping hot by the time I made it back to the office. I went for The Phoenix & it was yummo! Not sure if they’ve changed their patty recipie or the buns used or if owners have changed, but something seemed a lil different in the taste. It wasn’t a bad taste at all, just seemed different. Co-workers had the sliders, onion rings, & a kid’s meal. All were pleased with their orders & noted their special requests were met. One last thing is ya can’t beat the price for this place. Some of the good burger places have gotten a little silly with their pricing, but our order was just a bit over $ 20; some places are $ 12 for the buger alone… ijs
