My husband and I have always wanted to try this place but just assumed it was very expensive. It’s not. Actually it is very reasonable. I had the Fettucine Primavera. The noodles were al dente and it had mushroom, broccoli and yellow and red peppers seasoned with garlic and olive oil. This was absolutely delicious! The vegetables were very fresh and still had a bite to them. Just the right amount of spice and oil. I had plan on taking some home for tomorrows lunch but I ate the whole thing tonight. Our meals came with a salad(enough for 2 people) and garlic bread. The salad was scrumchious and the bread was to die for. So moist and not overpowering with the garlic/butter. My husband had the Lasagna. Terrific! The sauce had a smokey air to it — excellent. I notice the menu caters to vegetarians as well. That’s a huge plus. The atmosphere was very casual and the tables were lined with linens with parchment paper draped over them. Dutily understandable. The music was a little Italian with some flair of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. I also notice a little Chicago swing– song style also playing. Absolutely adored the tunes. An array of all people and ages and children. This place is huge. I can see a party being done there or maybe a business meeting. The staff was great and very courteous and attentive. We will definitely come again and also tell people about Lasagna House.

I was craving for lasagna for a few days and my husband and I drove by this restaurant and we decided to try it. I started feeling frustrated once I saw that they have only two options of lasagna despite of the name of the place… they only have the traditional and the vegetarian amongst lots of other types of dishes. They have more options of pizza than lasagna. So they should be called«Pizza House» then I guess. I expected to find more options of lasagna in a place called«Lasagna House». Well, I ordered the traditional one that was described in the menu like having broccoli and cheese. To begin with, I didn’t find any trace of broccoli on mine and besides the tomato sauce being acidic, it had ricotta cheese which it’s not disclosed in the menu. I don’t like ricotta cheese and for me it’s disappointing because most of the Italian restaurants I’ve been here in USA use ricotta cheese in their dishes with cheese. You can make great pasta dishes and pizzas using other type of cheese that will taste way better than using ricotta. I know some people like ricotta, but some simply don’t and for this reason I believe that the restaurants should offer options of dishes with cheese that don’t include ricotta. My husband ordered the same but with meat sauce and he didn’t appreciate his as well. I’m just giving two stars because the bread was good.

Very much enjoyed my dinner here. Mozzarella sticks, zuppa de pesce with the white sauce esa very tasty. The side salad wss a good one, pomodoro sauce lb the side for my garlic bread was very good. I even took a container home. Service was good and the place wss beginning to crowd up throughout our dinner so that’s a good sign.

I’ve ordered meals to go from this location several times in the past, but this was my first dine-in experience. The restaurant was not busy when I arrived, yet it took several minutes for me to be seated. The décor is less than I expected & the Spanish songs were totally not what I expected in an Italian restaurant. While I waited for someone to take my order(or at least me drink order), I was entertained by a very loud employee(I believe a manager) that was hollering into the kitchen about how much her house note was & telling another employee that they needed to get their mole checked out(yum…what a great lunch topic). A waiter finally took my drink order, but apparently he had to go buy some water because it took him several minutes to return. Once I placed my food order, it took an exceptionally long time for the food to arrive, especially given they weren’t busy. My pasta was al dente at best. The Alfredo sauce was bland & the peas in the carbonara were crunchy. About ½ way through trying to eat my meal, the waiter stopped by to check on things. That’s when I asked if bread & salad came with the meal. He acted as if he’d been planning on bringing those things out, but given that I was seated right by the kitchen, I could see that clearly was not the case. The I-10 flooding in Louisiana has nothing on how my salad was covered in dressing. Yuck! The bread, however, was perfection! Great texture, temperature & seasoning. Overall, I was very disappointed with today’s experience & wish I’d just gone with my original plans & eaten elsewhere.

We went on a Friday night and were able to be seated immediately. The waiter was friendly and our food came out fast. We got the Italian meatballs as a starter, and lasagna for the main course, along with salad and bread sticks. All were excellent. I wish we had room for desert. This place will definitely become one of my regular places. The prices are not expensive either.

Today was our second visit and it was just as great as the first time. The food was wonderful and at the right price. Our server was very pleasant. I have nothing bad to say at all. I see a 3rd visit soon. Thank you for a great lunch.

I wish I could give a higher because the service was great! The food however was bland. I had the shrimp scampi, and it could’ve had more flavor. Honestly the frozen shrimp scampi I get from HEB has more flavor. The shrimp were big and plump so I did enjoy that. Also their house glasses of wine is reasonably priced.

The kids wanted spaghetti and meatballs so we decided to give this place a try. Well, let me say they have good garlic bread but that’s about all I can say positive about this place. Ambiance is non existent, décor is tired, and waiter was absent minded. The kids ordered the adult spaghetti and meatballs and well, as 6 and 9 years old, they thought it rocked. The adults orders their«featured» scallop salad– um, bleh! About three ounces of tiny previously frozen scallops, over cooked to a rubbery perfection in about of ¼ cup of balsamic dressing swettened with honey totally drenching a slad mix with rough cut bell peppers prepped for a pizza. It was terrible. Im not being overly critical either, I mean it was on their«specials» menu so I would have hoped it was at least decent, but not. Note to management, test before you call it a special. I can’t speak to the other dishes, but at best this is a place for kids or those satisfied with the most basic and uninspired attempts at Italian. I won’t go back but would send the nanny with the kids. I’m sure the pizza would be OK for them too.

We have been getting our«Italian fix» here for over 30 years. Whether it is pizza, lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs or Italian sausage. It has been consistently great. The garlic bread and salad(with house dressing) are great starters. We have entertained at home with pans of lasagna and the trimmings. we have celebrated family birthday’s there. Service is excellent and if you are lucky enough to get one of Vinnie’s tables. you are«golden»! Yes, there are other Italian restaurant’s and we have visited some of them, but to truly relax and enjoy .our choice will always be here.

I remember back in the days when you knew you were getting good Italian food at this place. Not so much now a days. Their servings are large but basically tasteless. Now the bread, that’s good stuff.

We’ve come to have lunch at this location twice now and love it. Both times our food was really good, the bread and salad are really good too. The staff is super nice and although it does look a bit dated I still enjoy the ambiance of the place. The carbonara is delicious!!!

Of course this started in Chicago! This place is the best Italian spot in Houston. Not only are the prices reasonable but the food is quality. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Houston. Nothing is bad here!

I have not been to Lasagna house in about a year or two, but I remember it was always DELICIOUS. I recently came back about 3 weeks ago, and this place is consistent as always. It is awesome and a great place to come for a fulfilling dinner. Food 4⁄5: Great Italian pasta, they stay true to the pasta nature and don’t heavily douse everything with cheese and heavy creams. They serve complimentary salad and garlic bread — and are quite generous with seconds. The garlic bread is light and buttery, while the salad is refreshing and tangy. I typically order the following with my family: –Clam linguine 12.99 –Lasagna 8.99 –penne olio(pasta w/olive oil and mushrooms) 9.99 I LOVE and CRAVE the clam linguine, I can eat it for days. Tons of olive oil and clams, ridiculously garlickly. The penne olio is set up the same way except with mushrooms, and is just as fragrant. My father’s lasagna portion looks rather small in comparison to our huge bowls of linguine and penne, but it tasted as great and not too heavy. The lasagna’s tomato sauce was on point while the cheese was perfectly creamy and not overbearing. Dinner is always satisfying and I honestly never feel too bloated or guilty from eating it all. Ambiance/crowd 3⁄5: I’ve seen the location in Sugarland and this location can use a facelift, pretty dark, old decoration, and checkerboard table clothes. For this location at least for dinners, I see more older crowd and or families. Still homey, relaxing and a great place for dinner dates. Service 4⁄5: Extremely quick and good service. I like how these guys do a great job and come by when needed. They never interject mid conversation nor try to butter you up. There’s always a host to greet you upon your arrival and take you your table. I’ve never had to wait on these guys. Overall if you want good pasta, at a affordable price come here!!! This place is DELISH.

I’ve eaten here twice now, both times I had a variation of shrimp pasta. The wait staff was prompt and efficient. I love the smell of garlic as soon as I walk in. Thanks Lasagna House for pleasing my palate!

The place is clean and the staff did there jobs well enough. I enjoyed my salad and garlic bread. I was looking forward to finally trying this place. After all, it’s been here for ages. I ordered lasagna and meatballs. The menu said the meatballs were homemade so I couldn’t resist. It turned out to be quite disappointing. The lasagna and meatballs both just lacked flavor. The ingredients were good, just no seasoning. Where is the garlic, rosemary, etc. Nothing. Not horrible, but bland. If you prefer bland foods, you’ll love this place. If you want an Italian dinner that smells of garlic and herbs, look elsewhere. This place did not satiate my need for Italian flavors.

First time I came here, I made a mistake of ordering an Alfredo when it’s a lasagna place. The pasta wasn’t good as I expected. It had no taste and the chicken was extremely dry. However, I am willing to come back and try out other dishes and might change my rating then.

This is a regular spot for us. Food is consistently good. It’s obvious they use high quality and fresh ingredients. Here is why I’m giving them 5 stars: the waitstaff. We have NEVER had anything less than impeccable service. Tonight we had the pleasure of being served by Chevy. She was so kind and actually seemed happy to be there and just had the best attitude. This is a rare trait these days so it is very much appreciated and noticed. Five stars all the way around.
