i dont even live in these apts but upon entry the office aides seemed like they wished they had something else to do(if you dislike your job quit). My gf was looking for an apt bc it was close to her job but after the interaction with the chick(her name started with a M she didnt even introduce herself) little else needs to be said… My gf balled up the apartment layout and trashed it before we even left… smh do better people

It is an okay place to live(as long as you are closer to the front of the complex). However, that is where the niceties end… Keep in mind that as a tenant, nothing you discuss with the office or with Marilyn will EVER be the truth. The three ladies that work in that office now lie like it’s going out of style. You could go in with a recording of what was said and they would tell you that it was a lie. They’ll tell you one thing the first time, and then turn around and say, «I didn’t say ABC, I said XYZ.» and then the whole office, management included, will back the offices side, regardless of how inaccurate their information is. When I moved in to the apartment complex, the concrete on the second floor of my apartment was broken to pieces(covered roughly 15 feet of area from in the bathroom to my main room and into the closet — which means the foundation is bad and has been for a while!) When I was finally able to convince the manager, Marilyn, to get someone to come and fix it,(mind you over 6 months after moving in) they left cement dust over all of my belongings and only fixed half of the floor. Keep in mind also that after the ONE time the contractor came to halfheartedly fix the foundation, I myself had to relay the carpet, b/c yes, it was not even put back where it belongs, and I have never had anyone else even attempt to fix it. Now, I have spoken to Marilyn numerous times about this and she just keeps pretending like she has no clue about what is going on. I have spoken to the OWNER and still, there has been nothing done to attend to this. If you must live here, choose to do so at your own risk. You will not be treated fairly or with any level of respect, your belongings are not treated with any type of respect and blatantly put, if you don’t have some ‘special relationship’ with someone at the front office, none of your concerns will ever be worth Lakeside Forests’ time.
