Overall its a nice hotel. No major problems with staff, wifi, or hotel shuttle. Shower rod was sagging so the curtain staid open most of my shower and i took a black light to the carpet. Let me just say. I would NOT walk on the floors with out something covering my feet like a pair of bio hazard bags. So carpet is in need of shampooing. And the recliner. Well lets just say i will not be using any of them any time soon. What do people think the floors and furniture in the rooms are for? Whipping your ass and cum catchers? Sorry to get so vulgar. Thats not the hotel that is us as a culture.

Check in is at 3pm; however, the front desk let me check in early at 8am since the room was available. Doesn’t hurt to ask! Complimentary airport shuttle from 5am-11pm and breakfast(cereal, muffins, oatmeal, yoplait yogurt, fruits, waffles, toast, hard boiled eggs, juices, tea, & coffee) from 6am-9am(weekdays) or 7am-10am(weekends)! Wake up on time, because they will put everything away on the dot. The coffee, tea, & hot chocolate were still available throughout the entire day though. Everything was clean and comfortable, and place was always quiet. There’s a small gym and pool in the back patio as well. I even saw people bbqing in the patio? They offer free printing services at their«business station» too and the Free wi-fi works well! The only problem I had was due to the room keys. For some reason, both cards never worked and so I had to switch to a new room in order to use a new key(which still didn’t work). Eventually, they gave me a new spare key that worked and I got a free room upgrade with a fridge. so yay :) The front desk workers, Jasmine, Tracey, and Lois were all very helpful. I recommend this place if you have a long layover! If you don’t mind the sounds of airplanes at night, this place is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the airport. A+

If it was possible to leave no stars I would. DONOTSTAYHERE. I don’t think I could say that enough. This place has HORRIBLE wifi mixed with horrible customer service. It is advertised in the room that a Ethernet cable will be provided. Called the front desk and they don’t have any. Okay no big deal, I’ll just call the tech support number. Lady that answered could barely speak English. Didn’t expect this. She said she didn’t know why the wifi wouldn’t work and proceeded to tell me that the front desk would have an Ethernet cord. Nope. Now I’m kinda upset. Plain and simple. Don’t stay here

Too forever for the shuttle to pick us up. Then it took forever to check in. We only had an 8 hour layover so we missed out on a lot of sleep. Since we choose this airport solely for convenience for our layover. It failed miserably. There are a bunch of other hotels nearby that might be more efficient for a quick layover. The main problem is that they only have one shuttle. For a longer stay this place is spacious and clean.

We stayed at the la quinta hotel before catching our cruise ship. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and the lady at the front desk, Tracy was beyond helpful! We didn’t realize that there were no shuttles available because they had all been booked and she helped up find 2 shuttles for all 13 of us for cheaper than expected. THANKYOU!

It’s all in the details: 1. The WIFI is extremely slow. 2. The TV in my room was broken, you could change channels but not the volume. 3. The coffee machine during breakfast doesn’t work. 4. Room wasn’t clean, there were bits of fluff all over the room. I believe that for the same money you can go somewhere else where the claims of fast WiFi and great breakfast are true. Sadly, not here.

rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. the bed was also comfortable. The lady that checked me in at the front desk was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. the downside is if you want a halfway decent breakfast you have to go somewhere else here you have a choice of cold cereal or you can opt for the cold cereal if that does not suit your fancy then there is always the cold cereal as a last resort. The breakfast is lousy. Regardless of the breakfast I was still happy with my stay here.

So using a new travel agency, and they do not have a contract with Marriott(elite gold), so I thought I would try some of their offerings. I stayed at a La Quinta years back, and didn’t remember, good or bad. Rooms a pretty standard 2.5 star-type, microwave, nice desk with plugs, and not too cramped. Zero stars for the bed, but I’m whipped and could sleep on a stack of rocks. One note about all of the hotels at this location… It is at the END of the runway, and plane wheels scrape the roof — I’m not kidding. Still wont keep me up. :-). I think I will mark LaQuinta OFF my options list. Would not stay here again unless no choice available.

What a refreshing experience after a horrible day of travel on United Airlines. We were stuck in Houston with no help from the airlines at 10:00 p.m. Saturday evening. We looked at the hotels board in baggage claim and called the LaQuinta Inn & Suites Houston Bush IAH South Hotel. They were so friendly and cared about our displacement. They have an airport shuttle and picked us up. Upon arrival to the hotel the amount that they quoted us on the phone for the room was discounted even more. The rooms were great, clean, updated, had internet, coffee maker, microwave, television with lots of stations etc. They promptly gave us our 4:00 a.m. wake-up call, had the Continental breakfast set-up and ready to go at 5:00 a.m. and shuttled us back to the airport. I would consider LaQuinta’s for future travel, especially this one. Thank you for such a great experience. Your customer service is top notch!!!

La Quinta has been trying to «up» its image lately — trying to keep up with Hampton Inn or something, but it doesn’t quite cut the mustard. This particular hotel had fantastic staff, from the front desk person to the shuttle driver, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The place itself seems like it was renovated quickly and without attention to detail. The elevator is all the way at the end of the hall — I can’t understand why it wouldn’t be right off the lobby — and is really disgusting inside. The room itself was nice enough, albeit a little small for all the furniture they had shoved in there. What annoyed me the most I must say was the fact that they gave you one bar of soap and«conditioning shampoo». That’s it. No conditioner, no lotion. As someone who travels for business enough to count on the hotel bathroom amenities, I found it really irritating. The«bright side» breakfast was pretty sad looking — prepackaged pastries, sad looking fruit, the usual affair. They did have a scary looking waffle iron, but I wasn’t touching that with a ten foot pole. The coffee was worse than what’s served on an airplane. But they have yogurt and cereal and that’s usually pretty safe. Keep in mind there’s really only one restaurant within walking distance, at the Holiday Inn. Its kind of a sketchy walk because you’re on a really busy road, but its do-able.
