Had an Order to-go. Timely service. Food was exceptional. Had the fajitadillas and they were on point. I didn’t favor the beans but that is just my opinion.

The service was fair. Food was awful. There is no buffet anymore for lunch and the prices are expensive for what you get. Don’t think we will be returning in the future.

Update. The review on the bottom was about the first and second time that I came here I have been here maybe 8 times since and each time it has gone downhill something has been wrong. This is actually barely a 3 star buffet now this things they changed up now they brought back their menu in the evening when at first it was not an option. _____________ Wait, don’t go… I mean yes do go here but don’t pass here because you didn’t know they changed owners and changed up the service to buffet, you have to try it! Where else can you go and get all you can eat Ceviche, shrimp cocktail, raw oysters, whole tilapia, fresh enchiladas, shrimp cocktail and more? Scarred here are the remains of bad reviews that have left people with bad tastes in their mouths in more ways than one. I have read the mixed reviews and must say that this should be named«La Cimas Part Dos» No more is there an ala carte but instead a lunch buffet and at 4 pm a dinner buffet. Parking is plenty here and you will notice on the left-hand side is a playground for all of your little rug rats to scream in… please, don’t let them do that in the restaurant, let them drain it out there. Gone are the horrible wanna be breastaurant type atmosphere the previous owners were trying to entact but instead a whole new crew of very punctual service oriented staffers. I witnessed after a table of about 15 got up and were totally in the parking lot the staff of about 4 or 5 people all swooped in at the same time to bus, clean and reset the table in a few minutes flat. These folks should be in a pit crew. You just don’t get that at many places. There are two music systems here where you might hear a different latino music sound in the back versus a completely different tone in the front. Price of the buffet when I went three days in a row, a mere $ 13.99 plus uncle Sam and I’d say it’s all worth it. I was expecting to pay about $ 18 for all of the good stuff that you just don’t see even on a Chinese or American buffet. As of this day on August 16 the owner informed me that they have been open as a buffet for about 3 weeks now. I am glad I saw the buffet sign on the front, otherwise I would have never stopped in but unfortunately the Harris County Code Nazis say the owner has to take the banner down per ordinance. The pictures don’t do the food justice and I also must add that they do not massive batch make a food just to sit out there and get old but depending on the traffic in the dining room they will adjust the variable amount that they bring in the steam pans. My only complain is the buffet tables are set a little too close so be prepared to rub your bubble butt against somebody during peak times.

No thanks Jeff to this place. Customer service was par but the food was just bad. Negative stars if possible. Biggest food regret ever. Waste of macros.

Buffet for $ 10.99, wouldn’t even pay $ 5 for it. Will NEVER come here again. Food was cold, stale and tasted microwaved. Barely any options to choose from, there is not even dessert other than fruit, and those weren’t even good either. No wonder this place is always dead, do not eat here! Sense this place shutting down soon.

If there was a no star rating I would put it but there isn’t but they will get one star for my coke that is it. So where do I begin I ordered the cheese dip with fajita for a appetizer and when it came to us look delicious but as I started eating it there was no flavor and the dip tasted soapy so I just left that there. Me and my boyfriend ordered the fajita for 2 and when it came to the table it wasn’t sizzling like usual I should’ve known something was wrong there and don’t get me wrong there was a large amount of fajita and chicken. Anyways I took a bite of rice that came with the meal and there were raw hard pieces of rice, the beans had no flavor whatsoever, and the platter of fajita had a soapy flavor and something was just not right. We paid for our food even though I didn’t want to and left not a hr later I was sick throwing up in the restroom all night and was sick for a week it was just horrible and when I called to tell them they said come back and try it again no thank you!

Nice place unfortunately they’re weekday manager shows favoritism to selected clients which to me is unacceptable, all clients should be treated with the same respect. He is nothing like their weekend manager Chuy.

MUSTREAD– I used to work for this restaurant, although my co-workers and managers were great, I don’t think the food was at all! I worked as a busboy so that means i saw all the nasty things. The food is reheated, i found a couple of roaches and hairs on the salsa plates and not only that but the salsa itself was old and re-used when a customer sent it back. I myself tried giving the customers food that hasnt been re-heated or reused but i got introuble for it. The fruit waters were good but huge amounts of sugar was added onto them. But I give this restaurant two stars because other than the food the atmosphere is nice and clean, or maybe I was the reason why it was so clean but anyways, I do love the way its set up and the bar in the back is pretty cool. But if you’re looking for a place to eat instead of drinking then you should probably stay away from here. I know maybe my manager will read this and if you do. Thanks for the temp job lol.

The staff here was wonderful. The manager came over to our table and welcomed us. I had a very warm experience. The food was delicious as well as the Micheladas. I will definitely be back.

My last review gave this place 3 stars and it was well deserved. I am adding a star because the food did get better.

Horrible food!!! This place had bad smelling good on a busy Saturday. And I am currently on the pooper regretting going there. Yes, it was so bad, I am writing this review while on the shitter thinking of how much I regret saying,“yeah, I’ll try that place”. Biggest mistake ever when it comes to food. Other than that, it was a nice looking place, pretty waitresses, nice scenery, full bar, and kid friendly restaurant. I, not only, would not recommend this place to any who is hungry, but I would ask if you would look away from the place as you drive past it. Unless, you’re looking to flirt with waitresses and get drunk without ordering food. Then, yeah. Why not?

Loved this place, i don’t know or even care what it was before. What does matter to me was the great service and good food we received a couple of weeks ago when we first went. My wife and kids loved this place. I’ll keep my post updated as we visit this place in the future.

«La Cima» translates to «The Peak», such as the Grand Teton Mountain(tallest of the 3) in Wyoming. /\ /\ ‚/: :\, /\ uuuu /\, /: /: \, \ c0;;;-, ___/___/_:_:_\ :_\_\_____||_||__ By coincidence of common names, and totally unrelated to this family-owned restaurant, a group called La Cima Restaurants owns the most Twin Peaks franchises(«breastrants»). Gee, I hope that does not subliminally affect my review. The place is young and perky, and made a couple of boo-boo’s after the grand opening. But the new owner is eager to please and seeks feedback, because he has a lot hanging in the balance. Two star rating for food at La Cima means«Peak a Boo»(whereas a Peek-a-boo at Twin Peaks would get five stars). I added a star for good service and attitude. I will be back here in a few weeks to try the chili relleno. By then, I fully expect this place to stand-out, after they get opening glitches fixed. Décor: Young facility, clean, comfortable, and adorned well. Small, flat TV’s seem out of place, though. Full bar(small wine rack), including stools with long legs. There is plenty of room for a good-sized birthday party for kids or adults. Cloth napkins are expertly folded, tightly wrapped, yet softly firm, with a bit of cleavage for your fingers to loosen the wrap to get to the silverware. Bravo! Chips y salsa: Warm, luscious red salsa, medium hot, so tasty you’ll want to slowly lick it off a chip. Menu is not extensive, but not too bare. Standard Tex-Mex fare, including burritos, do not leave much to the imagination and may not entice those seeking an adventure. However, the owner says ask for what you want if it’s not on the menu. To piqué your interest in the menu, revealing pictures of food in artful poses flirt with your temptations. Lunch and Daily Specials are available for an early afternoon delight, whereas full dinner entrees are for late ease of the evening. Waitress is a sharply dressed Señorita, friendly, accurate with the order, and prompt, making sure your needs are met, legally of course. For example, she made sure I would not go thirsty by bringing a large pair of drinks, and a couple of tart limes to squeeze. My lunch special: Fajitadillas(quesadilla) Consists of diced fajita beef, tender and juicy, inserted into a flap of a smooth flour tortilla, whose edges were gently brought together and sealed with a kiss of melted cheese. Looks great and has an enticing aroma, but afterward, was disappointing. If it was all bunched-up, it’s not much meat inside. Suggestive fajita flavor leaves you wanting. No fat, though. The small scoop of guacamole was pale and more olive-colored than I expect. It also seems diluted, because it was too bland, like it was store-bought. I prefer natural, not fake mounds of guacamole. Lettuce was not fresh enough, showing a tiny wilted skirt around the edges. Snuggled against the refried beans is Mexican rice, formed by A cup into a rounded peak on the plate. Hungry? Consider grabbing something here for a bite. (Oh gosh. I hope this review was not over the top)
