Great website but zero customer interaction. I think they should rethink their no communication policy. Please read the other reviews and good luck!

I have used King Kong party rentals three times in the last four years. The services are reliable and affordable. I usually order a moonwalk along with tables and chairs. It is so convenient — they drop them off and then pick them up. The moonwalk is clean and delivered on time. I appreciate their reliable service.

I found this company on google and was pleased that they offered an age range for their toddler bounce house so I requested more information. They emailed a few days later stating the quote, and included instructions to reply within an hour to reserve the day and time I had requested, which I did — I responded as soon as I received a notification that I had an email. I received no response until the following morning. The email they sent me stated they were rechecking availability and would get back with me. What was the point in telling me to reserve within an hour(which I did) if they weren’t going to reserve it? I responded asking for them to give me a call, or to respond with a number I could call, so that we could make the reservation over the phone. That no doubt would have been much easier and faster. I received nothing back and after 24 hours emailed them AGAIN stating that I would not be using their services after all. If you value your time, do not waste it trying to work with this company as they clearly do not want your business. A tip for the owner: invest in a business phone and actually use it. UPDATE: I received a plethora of e-mails, texts and phone calls from this company apologizing and how they did value my business. They had apparently experienced technical difficulties the previous day. Either way, I had already moved on to another company. Be aware that if you do choose book with this company, it will be mainly through text and e-mail. I am giving them 3 stars on customer service(a combination of before and after the issue) only because I never got a chance to experience the actual product. I may try them again in the future, just not this time.

This weekend will be my 3rd time to use King Kong. Each time I’ve been pleased with customer service and the quality of the products. All communication is done via email or text message. This can be a bit annoying if you’re looking to wrap up in one call or can be good if you’re busy and don’t want to be bothered. Their prices are in line with competitors. Book early so you don’t miss out on the product you want. I have also referred them out to friends which I would never do if the products were bad.

I used King Kong Party Rentals for a business event that we were having a work. I got a moon walk and also a moonwalk with a slide. They were on time to set up, and they also picked up their items during the time frame that was confirmed. The guys that set up the moon walks were willing to answer all of my questions and also were patient while I was getting their paper work filled out. They tested out the moonwalks for safety. The moon walks were nothing extravegant that I got, but all of the kids had a great time. I would definintely use them again for future events.

Poor communication and difficulty in scheduling will deter me from this place again. Having to do everything via the internet does not leave much comfort in knowing if anything is actually being done. They really need to work on customer service.

The company’s automated system had a higher price then their website. It took them a while to respond but they did honor the lower price as listed on their home page without any argument. There was a delivery fee added that was not in the original quote but it was in line with their online policy. After I made this review they had sent me a series of emails complaining about how I worded the review. They tried to get me to change how it was written and felt that the fact they did not provide the delivery fee in the original quote would come across like they were hiding something. I stated that I felt the review was fair and they responded with the following: _______ to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thank you Gene — After a detailed review by the owner we are at this time declining to service your event. We feel that if there are misinterpretations this early that it will set the stage for issues later. Therefore to avoid potential for problems for both parties we are conscious and are providing you with ample time to allocate your party rental needs elsewhere. _________ So because they did not like the review they have cancelled my order which had previously been confirmed and received a confirmation number. I had even informed them that I would add to the review once the event happened so I could add about the quality of their service. I would avoid these people at all cost as they are truly not a professional organization. They tried repeatedly to pressure me to alter the wording of my review and I did a few times. I was not however going to lie to make them happy. There are more than an ample number of these types of businesses in Houston… choose a more reputable one. They have left me a week away from the event for my daughter with no dunk tank and no bounce house. Now her birthday and celebration of her bone marrow transplant will likely be derailed because of them trying to bully someone into writing a review that was worded the way THEY want it written. Have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Houston As an addition/update to my previous review I thought it important to note that there have been 18 previous reviews of KingKong Party Rentals and they have all been filtered out. What does filtered out mean? It means that Unilocal has algorithms in place to prevent deceitful behaviors by businesses to put up fake or solicited reviews. While this does not affect most companies what is important to grasp from this is that EVERY positive review they received was filtered out due to this type of attempt at putting up fake reviews to make them look better than what they actually are. See the pattern? They are an untrustworthy company and you should spend your money elsewhere. New update… they have tried to post some more fraudulent reviews to their site to make themselves look better. They have had 20 filtered out now. This guy is a really deceitful person and you should avoid him.
