i need you all to contact me so we can have a group complaint against her . we need to hire a criminal lawyer and write group complaint to texas state bar!! we need to make sure this woman doesn't use her license ever again! she took my money and didn't do anything!!!// she made me loose my case! i was aboused in my marriage and she threaten me to leave my case during tiral if i didnt pay her, than she told me no court will side by me even tou i was abused , court wouldnt recognize it she said! she pressured me to sign the papers , she called me names in front of the other lawyer, she was un organized and didnt do any of the paper work necassary. i lost my monye, my case my home and my business,, his lawyer preys on your weak state and takes advantage of you... let's unite~ don't let her get away with this!!! e-mail me~ lets all meet for lunch...we can do this! we can all go to state bar assosication and open a case against her! i talked to many lawyers, they said if we can get 5-10 people she had one wrong to our case will be taken seriously! waiting for all of you to contact me~ it doesnt matter if your case is recent or not,, if she had steal your money and didnt do the work contact me,, lets talk....! BETTER YET LET'S REGROUP TO MAKE A COMPLAINT!! I find it quite concerning that Julie Ketterman comes to a blog to respond to practically every negative comment that is made about her. Beyond that, she tries to embarass her disgruntled clients by sharing confidential details about their cases in an attempt to bully people into silence! She claims that she is an ethical attorney and challenges people to provide a case number that says otherwise. A quick Google search found this ruling from the court of appeals. Julie Ketterman was sanctioned for filling frivolous and harassing claims and was even ordered to take ethics classes! I don't think I want her representing me!

My husband and I hired Julie Ketterman in August 2015 to represent us in seeking custody of our granddaughter. Before paying the $ 5000 retainer, we were assured that the time sensitive manner of our case would be a top priority and receive her firm’s full attention. After paying the retainer, we would only hear from her two times despite countless attempts on our part to obtain information on the progress of the case.
When we first approached Julie, our daughter (mother of our newborn granddaughter) was in a rehabilitation clinic and set to be released the following week. We expressed the importance of achieving communication with her prior to her release from the clinic. Julie assured us that she could accomplish this despite the visitation restrictions by driving to the clinic in person. After a week of waiting for information, I called the firm and was told by Julie that she never spoke or met with our daughter, nor did she drive to the clinic.
After several weeks of unanswered emails and phone calls trying to figure out what the next steps would be, a paralegal at the firm called and explained he would take over the case after several paralegals were relieved from their positions. We heard from him the following day, confirming he was pulling the details of the case together, but communication after this point also ended.
After contacting the firm several more times to no avail we notified Julie Ketterman via certified letter and terminated the firm’s representation. The very painful and exhausting process of seeking custody of our granddaughter was unfortunately only worsened by the unprofessional and unethical actions of Ketterman’s firm. I can only hope that this account will spare others from the frustration and costly disappointment experienced by my family.

Please listen to what others are saying about Julie Katterman. She is a liar who will says she knows CPS in and out and she might, but she will take your money and you will NOT get any results. She is arrogant and obnoxious. She postponed so many times even the court dislikes her. She would postpone at the last minute and notified no one. She would be so busy she would forget to tell me about my court date! I have proof. Saved emails. Save yourself money and heartache.
