If all doctors were like Dr. Stern there would be no need to have the jitters or anxiety before seeing a doctor. This was my first visit and all I can say is that I will definitely be returning. Dr. Stern was so knowledgeable and extremely delightful to talk to. If your looking for a great doctor who listens to you and knows their stuff, Dr. Stern is your guy!

Dr. Stern knows his stuff. I have been to him for everything from acne to hair related issues and he always manages to help cure the problem (not just cover it up for a short amount of time like other doctors). I highly recommend him. His staff is very accommodating as well.

Not only is Dr. Stern an incredible and caring doctor, but his entire staff is the same. They are all so welcoming and warm and make me feel so comfortable to be there. Dr. Stern cares very much and it shows. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dermatologist.

Growing up I was a kid that was ALWAYS in the sun… playing sports, playing with friends in our backyards, and lifeguarding… and even though my cajun heritage has blessed me with an olive complexion that hardly burns, I have now realized that I’m not immune to skin cancer worries.
I was pretty worried about a spot that had shown up on my leg and Dr. Stern was thorough and comforting. He scanned my entire epidermis for potential spots of concern and provided his advice from many years of experience. Thank goodness that my somethinsomethin-​oma was not anything to worry about!
A word of advice, you probably shouldn’t go to a dermatologist after spending a weekend in the sun (or at NOLA Jazz Fest)…and if you do, prepare yourself for getting a stern talkin’ to. I decided to go with a slightly peeling nose… whoops! Go get an exam folks… it’s definitely worth it!
