This is a wonderful park. We visit regularly. The play equipment is perfect. The splash pad is so much fun. We ride our bikes to the park to play all the time.

This park is great– for the most part, it is well maintained. Huge playground for kids of all ages, a lot of green to run around on, tennis courts, and a little splash pad for when it’s super hot. I come here often with the kids I work with. It’s in a great neighborhood and the only thing really that I have to ‘complain’ about has nothing to do with the actual park itself but that on several occasions I have seen weird people roaming the park… They are clearly not there to take advantage of the basketball courts, they’re there because they’re stoned out of their minds. I’ve seen more than once very sketchy adults just lurking around. If I don’t see any other families or children in the park, I will not go with my kids. So, the actual park– awesome! Just beware of weirdos lurking around…

Amazing park! Great for kids of all ages. Tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field, very well maintained playground, stretching area, walking/biking/jogging trail and a water pad. Plenty of picnic areas, trash cans and doggy doo pickup bags available. Very friendly area and well shaded.

Love this park! Play equipment is awesome. Gets a little hot in the sun so be careful. Splash pad an added bonus. They recently added port-a-pottys — helpful with little kids.

This is a quiet, peaceful and lovely park nestled between commercial businesses on one side and a residential neighborhood on the other. There is a nice concrete walking path around the perimeter of the park marked off in 1⁄10 mile increments. In total, I think the park is 1⁄3 mile around. There is a nice playground, water feature, swings, tennis courts, and ample street parking. There are some nice picnic benches strategically placed under the large oaks for a shaded spot. The street parking is ample. There is also a baseball diamond, but it doesn’t look like it’s necessarily being used. Nice park.

This park is wonderful. It’s really well maintained. There are several great things about it. The playground equipment is amazing. There are a lot of really innovative things here, like a seesaw that my husband and I were actually able to use. There is a rock climbing wall, several slides, swings, and awesome spinning rides. There is a water scape playground area sort of similar to the one in Discovery Green. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, and a nice large green field for any other sports. There are also several picnic tables in the shaded area near the trees. I love that there are doggie clean up stations with bags in it that the neighborhood clearly refills. It’s never been crowded, there are no thugs. I’ve been here late in the evening to play basketball and the court was shared willingly. The tennis court lights keep the area pretty well lit. I just think this park is adorable and I think that the people who maintain it should be proud.

I’m sure back in the day, this park was lively and well-kept, but today it’s in dire need of a makeover. The softball field is more of a sand box for kids and the grass has not seen an ounce of fertilizer in years. They have made added a very nice playground and water spray ground for the kids. A basketball court has also been made available to those«ballers». With the additions, there really hasn’t been much of a considerable rise in the park population. It’s sad because the park is nestled in a very nice community, mainly quiet(considering it’s near a commercial park and railroad tracks). There’s a plan to fix the park and update it to suitable standards, but with all things of this nature, the city needs funding. Until then… I’ll stick with the other fine parks this city has to offer.
