I’m kinda bored because I come here so often. Not there fault, they have good sandwiches, I wish they would offer tacos of some sort. And why are there no napkins by the salad bar anymore? Can’t find them, I guess you have to ask for them now. The salad bar is one of my favs, keep the lettuce container filled please.

Always just the right food for the moment. Tonight they were staffed with the nicest team in the world. What a way to end a hectic week. Awesome service, great food. They deserve a well earned thank you!

Jason’s Deli is delicious! I have had food from Jason’s 3 – 4 times now, and every time has been better than the last. Everything from sandwiches(Amy’s Turkey-O), to soups(Fire Roasted Tortilla), to salads(Taco!)…they are all excellent. Orders are always prompt and correct, and the staff is very helpful.

Good food, great value, friendly staff, nice remodel, but still no wifi or accessible power outlets.

Jason’s Deli is the epitome of A-OK to me. It’s alright, nothing special. I’m never wowed with a meal, but it does the job if I’m hungry and want something quick. I usually order a baked potato: comes in 2 sizes and is very satisfying when you’re craving something warm. Salad bar is a pretty good value too. Never impressed with the sandwiches or soups, and I don’t really enjoy paying over $ 8 here because I don’t think it’s worth it. …I do love the free ice cream and little muffins at the salad bar. Best parts!

This is a nice Jason’s Deli in a convenient location. I always order the veggie wrap with fruit and my husband orders the meatball sandwich with chips. Both are always consistently great and inexpensive. Service is friendly. This is the perfect place for a healthy lunch. We always come back.

Thi is the first Jason’s Deli I went to when I arrived in Houston. It has changed a lot in ten years. Now i go to the one at Rice Village since its closer to my new apartment. This shepard location has lost its appeal. The workers seemed not to care. My chicken ceasar salad looked liked it was just trown in there. Dirty dishes and homeless. No music was playing the day of my visit. It just looked like a sad place to eat. It used to not be this way. I am going to stick with Jason’s Deli Rice Village.

I’m addicted to the Caprese Sandwich! I go to Jason’s just for that! I went to this location for the first time this week; a surprise as it’s in my neighborhood. They do need to improve this location a little. The restaurant was in a bit of disarray when we got there at dinner time. To-go boxes were stacked on top of tables as if for storage. The entry, near where the kitchen staff walk was dirty and disheveled, and the woman taking the order typed in my order wrong, even after repeating what I said. That said, the staff preparing the food corrected my order for me without issues, and the food was exactly the same as the other locations. If you’re going for *just* the food, this is as good as any Jason’s.

This is one of two JD that I frequent. I order to go a majority of the time. I’ve never really paid much attention to the service or even the salad bar. I normally order a potato of some sort. I can count on the food being ready within 10 mins and am always satisfied with the quality. JD seems to be able to keep a very consistent record when talking about the taste and quality of the food. I can’t give this location any more than a 3. I had a couple very unpleasant encounters with the to go staff. Once a young lady working the front was having an out right argument with either a client or an employee. It was uncomfortable. Another time I was given quite a bit of attitude by the staff member. I just brushed it off, took my food and went home. Not worth my time. All in all I’ve had great experiences as well, so I can’t just rely on those few times it got weird. I will say the food is good, the speed at which it is cooked and ready is quick and the price is adequate.

Salad bar is a great value. $ 7.99 and you have unlimited trips and lots of veggies and a few deserts. And of course don’t forget the free soft serve with chocolate syrup. Plenty of sandwich choices, wraps, salads, soups and spuds. FYI.This seems to be the place to go if you are dining alone. Today there were 16 people eating alone. I say make a friend and share tables. But in case you have no personality and can’t make conversation, you can go eat here and feel comfortable.

This Jason’s Deli is your run-of-the-mill sandwich shop. The crowd is a decent size and the catering is pretty good. Of course, the free ice cream is a bonus. The take-out service is very quick. The staff was very nice. Honestly, there’s not too much to complain about. The staff was very nice about taking my order, asking if I wanted x or y with my order as well as informing me about all of the options available.

Went here yesterday and had a good meal. Food was fresh and place was clean(all except the iced tea drink section). Manager on duty and the staff were friendly and helpful. Had an ice cream cone for dessert.

Compared to other Jason’s Deli locations, this location doesn’t match up. I never find the sandwiches here as tasty as the ones I get at some of the locations in Spring or The Woodlands. Still, I frequent this place any time I need a quick and cheap meal in Montrose. A decent sandwich is a decent sandwich! I didn’t have a particularly good experience tonight, however. I was really looking forward to a Club Royale(no cheese)– seductive with its meaty interior and flaky, buttery exterior that’s delicately spread with honey mustard… So, you can imagine my disappointment when I was brought out a soggy croissant dripping in honey mustard. I only made it ¼ of the way through the sandwich before I just had to speak to the manager. There was no way I could eat that soppy, cloying mess! I returned it and ordered a chicken salad wrap, which was delicious! Thank you, manager at Jason’s Deli for saving my dinner! There are way better Jason’s Deli locations, but… I’ll be back…

Ahh — another Jason’s Deli location. This one follows the guidelines from their corporate office — everything is pretty consistent here as you will find in other locations. The one thing that I think is better is the staff. The middle-aged lady that helps runs food is one of the friendliest food service employees that I have ever encountered. She came by our table multiple times to check on us and remind us about the free ice cream. I prefer the Mediterranean Wrap(half) with soup. The wrap is one of the lowest calorie items they have and it is delicious. The soups are always good, as is the salad bar. I do miss the red beans and rice that they once served, but I understand that menus change. If you are wanting something quick that is consistent in quality, this is a save bet.

This Jason’s Deli is in a very convenient location right at the intersection of Westhimer and Shepard. The service I’ve received here is great. The manager was really kind to us and made sure we had everything we needed. He even gave us free cookies which was a really nice gesture. It’s very clean and really don’t have any negative comments at all towards this restaurant. The salad bar is always stocked with everything. The foods delicious. I always get the Savvy Chicken salad wrap and I love that it’s made with pineapple in it. I do need to branch off and try something else though. I’m thinking I’ll get the penne pasta next so I’ll update my review after I’ve tried something new!

LOVE this place! believe it or not, this was my FIRSTTIME visiting a Jason’s deli ever! I got a croissant veggie sandwich which was just great. the girl helping me out was so patient & eager to help me make it my own. she went through the MASSIVE amount of veggies, condiments & so much more with me, even during busy lunch time! now I know what the hype is about for Jason’s deli because I visited this place 2 more times for variations of my sandwich in the same week. I definitely recommend this location & this chain!

Woah, one of the most consistent and long time favorites of mine have really mucked it up. Food is still good, but here is the kicker they’ve taken away a good deal of their classic sandwiches. First off(and most importantly) you can NO longer get a sergeant pepper, YES you heard right for some dumb reason they took one of their best, and best selling sandwiches off the menu. The manager gave me some horse hockey excuse that they don’t make the bell peppers anymore — total lip service, instead replacing this with a beef dip, oh joy beef, cheese, bread, and au jus — could you be any more boring? Strike 1 and 2 for that alone. The menu also has been scaled back so it’s likely some of your long time favorites are now gone as well — whomever made that decision needs to be fired post haste. Now the final strike their normally stellar salad bar is a fraction of it’s former self, gone are the niceties like the almonds, mixed nuts, bell peppers, green peas, basically anything that isn’t dirt cheap has been removed, leaving the salad bar a pitiful wreck of it’s former glory. Obviously once again a cost savings measure, but the quality went down ten fold, again a very poor choice by their ownership. Having already been a little iffy on Jason’s this is the final nail in the coffin, and further proof that their business sense is slipping into complacency, and into being purely profit minded over quality — and it’s a damn shame too. For shame Jason’s I really used to hold you in high regard.

My college friends and I have been here so many times, I can’t even count it. It’s literally as good as it gets. The food has never disappointed us and they even accomodate all my «dressing on the side,» especially my «please add sprouts to this sandwich i’m ordering that doesn’t come with sprouts» and even my «pasta sauce on the side» with a smile. They put way too much pasta sauce on their pasta, by the way. Well, I tend to like my food a little bland. Salad bar is… probably not free. But we were all poor college students and they never said anything when we picked up a mini muffin here or there. And of course free ice cream. They also don’t say anything if you order off the kid’s menu, which is a plus. Any restaurant that tells me I can’t order off the kid’s menu for a smaller serving doesn’t get my business ever again. FAVORITES : …well i really couldn’t tell you because I always change the order completely lol. Everything’s good. Don’t worry. If you don’t know where to go and haven’t been in a while or ever at all. Jason’s Deli is always safe!
