Jamie’s Beauty Salon

I came here because my normal haircut place, Christine’s salon, raised their prices. Unfortunately, Jamie’s charges extra for using a credit card. My $ 5 haircut automatically went up to $ 10 (minimum $ 10 credit card transaction). I have no respect/​room for businesses who use this as a reason to charge more. Even $ 1 (which would probably be more reasonable to charge for a credit card transaction) would leave a sour taste in my mouth, but DOUBLE what I should have paid?! Absolutely absurd. Safe to say I won’t return.

Worse haircut I ever have till now. This lady wet the back of my shirt when she washed my hair. My haircut came out the first time was horrible and doesn’t look anything like the picture I showed her. After I have her fixed it 3 – 4 times it looked kinda better, or so I thought. But when I went home, I divided my hair up and realized I was wrong. One side is uneven and looked ugly. And it Short. She chopped off my long hair. I had to fix it myself and couldn’t do much because it gonna be shorter than I want it to be. I’m not an expert but I cut my hair myself a lot of time and it was ten time better than this. My mom said I’m picky with anyone. So yes, I will never trust my hair to a hairdresser again.

ive been coming to this gem for over 7 years now and thai has been my hairdresser ever since. she’s has been with me through every hair phase that i went through, and believe me, when it comes to hair-​im the most bipolar person. i went into that place every few months with a new style and thai has always came through with it, sometimes even better than what i asked or expected. thai had a baby pretty recently so she took some time off so i haven’t been in some time but will be visiting jaimies very soon. ALSO, a few years ago when my sister-​in-​love was in town, she needed a haircut and i brought her to jaimies. sister-​in-​love relocated to houston and has been getting her hair done at ulta and she actually told me that she’s been thinking about how she loved her hair the last time we went to jaimies and has been meaning to ask about it. this place is legit and the prices are too affordable!

Jamie’s Beauty Salon is the best around the Houston area. I have always come here so they can do my hair, and nails. It is in the Alief area and far from where I live now, but it is totally worth coming here. I can not go anywhere else to cut my hair but here. Jamie the owner is always around greeting, and working. They do any kind of job to your hair from: low lights, high lights, hair color, cut, style cut, waxing, facials, manicure, pedicure, eyebrows, and massage. They do it all, and they have been around for a long time ever since I was in high school, which believe me has been a long time. If you see a hair style in a book that you like they always match it. They do the best work, and the service is amazing. I will always be coming here to cut my hair for as long as I am in Houston. The best of all is they make sure they do a great job if they need to do a retouch up or whatever to make you look glamorous they will do it. I love how they take their time. You got to try this place out. Got to love the SWAT!!!

I had a pleasant hair cut here for the price I paid. Only went once, and for someone who was on a budget, I wasn’t against my haircut.

This place is HORRIBLE! They butchered my hair, and cut it all wrong. then they did a horrible job on my sisters mani-​pedi! I will never return again! They have cheap prices, but they work terribly. A women had the nerve to yell at me and tell me that everything was my fault. BOTTOM LINE: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!
