I was a bit skeptical about all the reviews on here about how great this place was. It’s been a while since we had really great take out! This place has like the best General chicken ever!!! Their wonton soup is delish and The delivery is so fast and the food is hot too! There is one thing that they miss though… no plastic spoons or forks in the bags when they deliver! Other than that, food is great!

I’ve come here once with my parents for lunch and once with my husband for dinner. Most Chinese food places give my body a bad reaction(maybe it’s the MSG), but I always feel fine(and full!) when I leave Jade Garden. Because it’s the only Chinese food place in the area that my body apparently likes, this is now our go-to Chinese restaurant. Both the Beef in Garlic Sauce and Chicken in Garlic Sauce dishes are great. My husband really likes the Jalapeño Chicken dish. During lunch they give you spring rolls, crab rangoon, and fried rice with your main dish. My parents don’t care for the spring rolls and opt for extra crab rangoons instead. I don’t care for their lunch side fried rice and prefer regular steamed rice. The restaurant is nice and quiet so it’s great for conversation. Check this place out.

Average, ok Chinese food. For dinner, they would be a $$ instead of just one $ place. Dinner specials were $ 12.95 We were going to get dessert afterwards but they provided complimentary coffee cake bites, one for each of us. My sesame chicken was a little too much on the lemony side and sweet. Place was clean and wait staff very friendly. Probably will not come back again.

My sister and I happened upon Jade Garden and decided to give it a go. We are quite happy we did! We ordered off the luncheon menu. All of the lunch plates come with the entrée of choice paired with fried rice, fried spring roll, cheese puff and choice of wonton, sweet and sour or egg drop soups. My sister ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with sweet and sour soup. I ordered the House Lo Mein with wonton soup. Everything was very very good. So good, in fact, we ordered Pepper Steak to go with plans on taking it to our parents. To recap: great food, fresh ingredients, large portions, hot Jasmine tea, nice new quiet ambiance, good friendly service, decent prices… Highly recommended! They will be seeing our faces again!

Friendly on the phone for pickup service. Great tasting General Tso. The fried rice wasn’t my favorite though. Hot & Sour soup was tasty. We will be going here again soon.

In our area(77070) there are a lot of Asian offerings — however, many are inconsistent at best if not outright awful. I know that we are consuming ‘Americanized’ Chinese food here. Jade Garden is at the top of my list for takeout(not sitdown — we have never eaten in the actual restaurant) since we first tried them out over the summer of 2015. Every time we have ordered it has been correct and served hot with extra condiments on the side. Portions easily make 2 meals out of on dish for us. The service is friendly and even when we were told they could not deliver to us, they gave us a free Wonton Soup without us even asking. Here are our favorite dishes out of what we have ordered so far: Shredded Beef Hunan Style Shredded Beef with Garlic Sauce Special Fried Rice(I always ask for extra spicy — my favorite!) Egg Rolls Tonight I am trying the Hot and Sour Soup for the first time when we make our order. I gave the restaurant 4 stars because, of course, I cannot say it is the best/most authentic I have ever had — but it is the best in our area. Very affordable and delicious!

This is my first time at Jade Garden. The prices are more than reasonable, and the food is very good. I went here around lunchtime and ordered the sesame chicken. I received egg drop soup, sesame chicken, Fried rice, a cheese wonton, and a spring roll. All that food only cost me $ 6.95. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and quiet, very clean and orderly. The staff is attentive but not overly so, which I appreciate. There’s one television in the room and some soft music in the background. All in all, I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back to try some different things on the menu.

Very good food and super fast delivery, just watch out when using your credit card 15 min after I ordered my card was use in China book store. Not sure if just a fluke or was done from there. That’s the only reason I give it a 3.5 stars. If not a 5 for sure.

Beef broccoli was great and so were the spring rolls. I often run in here when I have had a long day at work and do not have time to cook dinner. Salad and soup is to die or and so is the fried rice. Definitely will continue to stop in!

One of my favorites in the area for sure. Great service. Always fresh and freshly made. They offer brown and steamed rice as well as fried. Accommodated requests without flinching. Not greasy. Not too salty. Very clean space. Have tried chicken and several veggie meals, soups. All good.

Wonderful food and excellent service. Sometimes the English is a bit difficult to understand but I recommend that you be patient as the food is quite good. My favorite dish is partially off the menu as I order Happy Family with white sauce. It’s great for gluten-free lovers and they don’t mind substituting my favorite snow peas for the broccoli. If you go for lunch this can be ordered as a lunch menu item which includes egg rolls, spring rolls or cheese puffs as well as a nice soup for a very affordable price.

Absolutely my favorite chinese restaurant whether eating there or ordering for delivery. The staff are super friendly and the delivery service is fast. The food is consistently well prepared and seasoned perfectly. My new favorite dish there is their pad Thai… best in town.

There are so many different Chinese restaurants int he area but this one definitely stands out. I order for delivery and they are VERY prompt in getting me my food. They say 40 minutes and it has NEVER taken that long. Jade garden has amazing food, their Lo Mein is to die for. My husband always orders the chef house beef(I think that’s what it’s called) and he loves it. The people are so nice on the phone and are so friendly when they bring it to your door. I would recommend this place to anyone. I have only lived in the area for about a year and order jade garden at least once a month. So much better than ordering a pizza. I don’t have enough good things to say. I am half Asian and have ordered their Thai red curry… It’s very good if you like a more authentic-ish dish. Their mustard sauce is delicious as well. So good just writing this review makes me hungry.

Fast delivery & great food! They must have changed mgmt because the last time I tried it(maybe a year ago?) I said I’d never try it again but after seeing the reviews on here I figured I’d give it another try. Had the general chicken & crab puffs & I wish I had room to finish it all! Lol only improvement I would say would be that the white rice isn’t sticky how I like it…

I’ve had trouble with consistent Chinese takeout in this area, but Jade Garden was on the more impressive side with taste and price. I ordered a wonton soup, crispy spring rolls, chicken with garlic sauce, and the chicken fried rice, all for $ 20. The crispy spring rolls were good, but the pale yellow sauce had a bit too much of a strong vinegar taste. The chicken with garlic sauce was tasty, but it lacked a lot in veggies. The chicken fried rice was a bit too soy heavy with the rice and didn’t have enough chicken and veggies mixed in. The wonton soup was standard/good, and I liked the smaller wontons. This may sound like a few too many picky grievances, but I was impressed the most with the taste of the entrée, which is most important to me. For that reason alone, I’ll go back and try more things.

Better service and food than most other Chinese food joints around the neighborhood. Prices are a little bit higher, but you know the old saying: «You get what you pay for.» An example is their shrimp has the fresh«snap» that lets you know it’s fresh, unlike the other restaurant’s that serve mushy or soft shrimp.

Oh My Gosh! I am SO excited to find Chinese food I like in our area, I can hardly stand it! Hubby and I have been on a quest for almost two years and have always been disappointed until now. I decided on impulse to stop here on the way home last Friday for take out. From the start, my experience with Jade Garden was great. The young woman at the front was very sweet and took her time helping me. As we were discussing how spicy I wanted things(I take my spice/heat very seriously), a young man also joined us and really took his time talking to me about the level of spice I wanted-he then went and talked directly to the kitchen staff about it, and I must say they got it right! Hubby and I had a nice, pleasant burn from the spice but not enough that we couldn’t enjoy the food. They also made me fried rice without peas(so happy about this, I do not get peas in rice…). The only thing keeping this from five-star food was that it was all a little too oily for both of us-they used a lot of chili oil… not enough to ruin it, but a little lighter would have been better. Here is what we had: Egg rolls-Very tasty Chicken fried rice-nicely done and no peas! Jalapeño chicken-very tasty with fresh and not pickled jalapenos, but they supplemented the jalapenos with bell peppers, which I hate and had to take out. Chef’s House Beef-very tasty with a nice orange flavor. However, with the beef being lightly fried, I don’t know if I would get it again. We will be back! Yay!
