Jack Rabbit Slim’s

Being a Pulp Fiction fan, I had to check this place out to see if it was like the one in the movie — nope. But it was a cool dive bar that was clean, had plenty of tables, including poker tables, some dart boards, «video poker» and Bass on draft.
Bass on draft = my kind of place.
And to top it off, the jukebox had Rammstein AND Reel Big Fish on it — I’ve never seen anything like it — I just wish this place was closer to my home.

Jack Rabbit Slim’s is a large pool hall and sports bar with plenty of room to hang out.
I’m not much into sports so we just staked out a pool table for the night and started ordering drinks. The waitress was helpful and prompt. There was plenty of room between the pool tables so people weren’t bumping into one another.
I played with a pretty competitive friend so I ended up losing every game but we had a good time here for the few hours that we spent. I’d like to go back at some point when it was a little more crowded as the music was a little distracting since we could hear it so well. I had Guns and Roses in my head long after we left.
Jack Rabbit Slim’s is a pretty solid pool hall without a lot of flash. Just good old plain fun as long as you get there early enough to lay claim to a table. Great for a group night out.
