I was greeted by an overwhelming presence of rats as I approached the drive thru last evening. The experience was almost as surreal as the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. I contacted management and was informed that traps were in place and the City of Houston notified. I wish I could keep you informed on the case of Jack and the rats but I never plan on returning to this establishment ever again. I’m just wondering what the City and the Humane Society plan to do.

Probably the worst jack in the box in the world… worst fast food location for that matter… it’s the closest fast food to my apartment so I’ve been forced to go here several times but will never return again. There is always something«wrong» here. Ice machine broke. Grill broke etc… I feel like they just lie Cuz their lazy. How is the restaurant open if the grill is broke??? They literally couldn’t make anything. and I was told this after I ordered…“sir the grill is broke”…so basically I ordered something they didn’t want to make and now the grill is «broke». Please don’t go here. This place should either be shut down or all employees fired and a new staff brought in… do yourself a favor and go to the whataburger down the road. If I could, I would give them –1 star but since you must give at least a star to post a review, I am sadly forced to give them a star. «I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul. We are all now dumber for having eaten here»

Yes, it is just a fast food place… and yes, it’s 24 hours! This damn Jack in the Box has saved my tired and/or drunken ass more times than I can count. In addition to that, the people who work the drive thru are super nice and fabulous looking! Thanks guys!

Have you met Larry? If not, you should. He’s awesome! I don’t mean to paint this as a scary place, but I stepped up in here for lunch on the Friday before Memorial Day and it was a hot mess. Being from Atlanta, it wasn’t much different than being caught in the middle of a Gucci Mane sighting(and subsequent flash mob… but not the good, synchronized dancing kind). Anyway, through the chaos of slinging tacos and water cups(because for some reason no one was buying soft drinks — maybe they were New Yorkers??) was a bright smile and kind voice. Larry had every reason to be short, snarky, and unhelpful. It was the lunch rush at Jack In The Box. Who has time to be nice? Larry does and I appreciate him for it. I totally planned to tell him he was doing a great job and I forgot because I was rushing to meet my friend Chris. Sorry for being a week late, but I’m sure Larry is still doing a great job!

I’ve bought food from this location before. I pass it on my way to work every morning. On Monday, April 30, 2012 around 8:45 a.m., however, I should have driven right on past the restaurant, but I didn’t – I had a hankering for some of their 2 for 99 cent tacos. I felt kind of «off» for most of the morning – not entirely sure why, but hoping it wasn’t the food. By 1:30 p.m., those tacos were still in my system(could still taste them). By 4:00 p.m., I knew it wasn’t going to be pretty. I was violently ill by 5:30 p.m.(while at work) and continued to be incredibly ill until approx. 4:00 a.m. the next morning. I’ve never felt worse. I’ve heard that what usually makes you sick in fast food joints is the seemingly innocent produce. Everything else is flash fried and as long as it is served relatively soon after being cooked, it should end up under a suitable temperature. Nevertheless, it made me sick as hell and I’ve already submitted a Foodborne Illness Complaint(link provided below) because I don’t believe that anything you buy, gambling by eating fast food or not, should *EVER* make you as ill as the stuff I was served.
