OK my experience. I put in my order and it was supposed to arrive between 5:15 and 6:15. At about 4:45 I received an update that my order was delayed to arrive between 6:15 — 6:45 and for this reason they gave me free delivery on my next order… not a problem with me and I continued cleaning the house. At about 7 my order had still not arrived, I had no updates, and I needed alot of those groceries to make dinner… I was not pleased. At 7:15 I get an update from the shopper that HEB didn’t have some of the items, I said ok and continued waiting. At about 7:30 the shopper calls me and tells me that they don’t carry one of the items(I know for a fact they do) and that they are out of another item… I tell him I really don’t care and to please finish and get to my house because I’m hungry and would like my groceries. Followed by more texts of things HEB is out of from the shopper… Finally at 8PM my order arrives. I immediately unpack everything and make dinner because I’m hungry… I also write an e-mail to instacart about my disappointment in the service. I get an e-mail back shortly apologizing and giving me a $ 20 credit for my next order. So needless to say this first try was not so great, but the produce picks were surprisingly good and the customer service from corporate was on top of their mistake. I’ll give it a whirl again(mostly because of the credit and free delivery) but definitely not on a night that I need those groceries to arrive on time so I can make dinner
