Downloaded Unilocal because of my experience here. Punch line is that my clothes were ruined and I was given the run-around when I requested to speak with the owner. I was a loyal customer for around 18 months and never had a problem until March 2015. I pick up a handful of shirts and notice for the first time that every one of them is damaged in the exact same location. Some old, some new, and fabrics of varying degrees of quality so I tell the location manager, who agrees to contact the owner ASAP. The location manager also agrees to send one of the shirts in to be tested, claiming that it appears to be chemical exposure.(I work a desk job downtown, no chemicals on my end) Two weeks, frequent reminders by me, no call from the owner. I stop in again. The location manager retrieves the shirts I dropped off earlier(when I picked up the damaged ones) and brings out the expensive dress shirt we agreed to send to the testing facility. She tells me that the test center results came back inconclusive, and she couldn’t do anything. Inconclusive, interesting. I think she’s lying to me. Another week. I finally reach the owner, who says she was confused. No shirt was sent to a testing facility — it would take 6 – 8 weeks for the test anyway. Did I mention the whole time I’m paying for the repairs and still wearing these into work? To be fair to the owner, he offered to pay for repairs to some shirts, but a couple were custom made and beyond saving. For perspective on timing, these issues started in March and weren’t resolved before I moved away in June. If I had unlimited time, I think I could have chased to get them to do the right thing. But why should I have to? + One star for a solid 14 month run + One star for a half-hearted attempt to do the right thing

Poor customer service with a ‘blame the customer’ business model and they even employ a liar! I’ve had poor service, average food and mediocre experiences for years, but this dry cleaner is the only business that has ever provoked me to sign up on Unilocal and post! Beware!

Extremely friendly staff(they even remembered my name when it had been a month since I’d been in) and good quality work. They skew high on the price scale, for sure, but I’ve yet to have an issue with the laundering and dry cleaning services they offer. The convenient location is what keeps me coming back, along with the great treatment of my clothes.
