IHOP

Horrible location to order, they always hang up half way through placing an order, then its always busy right after or dont answer. Dont understand why u work there if taking a to go order is so much work that u never finish and dont answer after. You need not so lazy ass employees.

One of the worst IHOP experiences that I’ve ever had. We stopped in for a late night meal. We waited for our food for more than an hour while most of it sat in the window getting cold. When it got there, a bunch of the orders were wrong. We asked for separate checks and the orders were all jumbled among them. I pointed out that I had ordered the french toast combo, which should have come with eggs, bacon and hash browns, and didn’t get the rest of the combo, to which the waitress replied that I was «better off.»
Yikes.

I’m a regular IHOP customer in another city, my experience at this IHOP was great. Seated fast, Food came fast, waitress Erica was very accommodating and pleasant. Thanks for a great experience!

IHOP is a really decent place to have a heavy breakfast or to fill up your late night hunger! I just love their omlets! Though the pancakes are good, I am not so big on them, so can’t eat more than 1 or 2 at a time! And this place like most others is clean and neat with good service!

The waiter Felicia on night shift last night was incredibly rude, then she tried to steal my money and would not give me my change. When she did give me my change after I waited twenty minutes and asked another employee where my change was, My change was short.
This woman was incredibly ghetto and needs to be working on a corner, not in a restaurant where families come.
Please stay away from this location as service is horrible, food is mediocre, and the staff had NO TRAINING.
Felicia completely ruined my impression of ihop.
Please do a better job when hiring individuals.

WORST IHOP LOCATION I’VE BEEN TO. I am an IHOP addict and used to order thi at least once a week. I recently moved from the east coast to Houston. I was very excited to try this location only to be severely disappointed. The pancakes were thin! The omelets were dry and tasted stale. The waitress got my order wrong the first time. My meal came out in bits. I was already ready for the check when my french toast came out. When I asked the waitress why the pancakes were so thin today, she said, «I mean, that’s the way they make them.» I said «all the time?» and she said «yep». Lies! I’ve been going to IHOP for over 10 years and this is the first time I have seen pancakes this thin– I probably make better pancakes than what I was served yesterday. When I asked the manager about why the omelets were so dry, he nonchalantly said there was an egg shortage and that I should have known by watching the news. My only mistake was ever visiting this IHOP. My brunch money woud’ve gone to better use elsewhere.

Service was average. When we asked for hot syrup the waitress just took the syrup off the table and microwaved it. She seemed disgruntled when we asked for anything, even when one of our orders were brought out incorrect. The food was delicious, but the service needs improvement.

People love to complain about IHOP but they always come back. The food is tasty and the price is right.

We just had another great meal at our favorite ihop. The staff is like old friends and treats us great. I go there for a pick me up when I am tired. Just plain good food at a reasonable price.

I usually like IHOP, but this one is really really bad. The worst part about this place is the night manager, Erica. She lacks any concern for the restaurant’s patrons and her own staff. You can hear her scolding them openly that it made me cringe at the lack of professionalism. She even treated me so bad I had to leave the restaurant immediately along with other walkout tabs that night. People were leaving left and right. I can only imagine how much the store’s owner is loosing in revenue due to numerous walkouts, poor reviews, and no return business. Do yourself a favor and get a better night manager who actually cares. If you care about customer service then I would highly recommend not coming here and supporting this IHOP until they make necessary changes.

Not a good ihop location to go if you want good service, get what u ordered in one attempt and some what of a decent atmosphere. Do not recommend and would not be back.

As with most IHOPs this place has no ambiance, but when you need some quick late night food where else are you going to go? For about $ 10 you get a meal that will satisfy. Sure it’s not gourmet, but it will do the trick! Service was decently fast and friendly… I’d come back if in the area at midnight again.

For being a chain, I was not expecting too much. However, the food and service was all great. We had chicken and waffles and a blueberry pancake combo. Everything was cooked well and we left stuffed. It is a bit pricey for the quality of food but you won’t leave hungry!

Order was messed up for party of 5 from many angles. Some items never received & just said forget it! Food mediocre. Prices high for level of quality. Slightly strange odor in restaurant.

I’m caught between a fantastically above average dine-​in experience and a terrible one to-​go.
Dine-​in in the morning on a weekday was extremely quick and efficient in taking my order and friendly. In addition the Belgian waffles were very fresh and just the perfect balance between crispy and soft (more than other locations).
My spinach omelet sandwich that I bought to-​go for my father was literally so greasy and distateful that we literally couldn’t finish eating it — and we hate wasting food all.
So if it wasn’t for that sandwich I probably would have given 5 stars.

It’s iHop, pretty much like any other one.
The main reason why I prefer this one though is because more than likely the service is a lot better aka take down the order right and more efficient.
I usually get the harvest grain blueberry pancakes or the whole wheat with egg whites.
Pretty good tasting. I often times crave it.
Price is the same as all the other ones, fair.

My first visit here brought me long waits for my food and for any other items I may have requested from my server. My pancakes were rubbery (considering this is the International House of Pancakes, I guess I expect nice, light, fluffy pancakes). Second visit, waitress was nice, but I poured some of the hot water brought to me for tea and the got some kind of brown colored liquid (which I assumed was coffee). Very small with limited seating — I had to hold back laughing when I saw three grown gentlemen squeezing into a small booth — please IHOP hosts try to make sense and seat people so that they are comfortable!

Ok, I agree with some other reviewers, this is an older IHOP, not much room to spare, especially if you try to fit four comfortably in a booth. Considering the size of parking lot, they could easily expand a bit for more comfortable seating and maybe add a bit of landscaping to the otherwise concrete landscape which surrounds.
Our visit was ok as far as service, the waiter was pleasant and our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Prices, in my opinion a bit more for the amount quality of food, but considering it is not far from Galleria, one should not be surprised?
Typical omelet and eggs with bacon order was mediocre, deserving of the 2-​stars, while I would rate service a bit higher. We will likely try someplace else, like House of Pies if in the area. Service=3, Food=2, Ambiance=2.

One of the older ihops I’ve been too in Houston. Small location yet cozy with friendly staff. Of course its size comes at a price. The tables are really small so when the food comes, your space management skills are tested.
My wife’s coffee cup came dirty so I knocked another star off.
